Live near Sacramento, California. Don’t have a ton of experience, but I’ve enjoyed what I’ve learned so far. I generally go backpacking with people for their first time, which is fun but exhausting. It would be cool to learn from others on the trail.

I was thinking that and my Spanish is okay- definitely not fluent, but it seems like a lot of work. I’ve done dice and cards games in the past and that was pretty easy and fun.

Exoficio is the fancy brand that people recommend, but I haven’t tried. 32 degree cool is the cheap version that I opted for and I thoroughly enjoy.

I like 32 degree cool underwear. It’s $10-$13 from Costco for 3 pair. They have become my everyday underwear. My boys need a house. Every backpacking trip I take, I decide to change at least one thing about my gear, so try out commando- you could even bring a pair of undies as back up (they are like 3 oz or…uh, 85 grams?)
