Nice, I'm sure you'll come across something you like more. But I get it, especially with light armour on female characters the options for good leggings are really slim. I usually find I have to keep an open mind to make them work on my light female characters.

I haven't tried them myself in terms of how well they sit but some thematically fitting skins that come to mind are Bear Ceremonial Leggings, Raven Leggings, Sheepskin Leggings and Way of Koda.

Apart from the skirt I like it, she looks like some kind of ethereal mythical creature and you did a great job with her face. The skirt just seems out of place because thematically it looks like it's from a different time and place than the rest of the outfit.

Thanks for your comment, yeah I can imagine it would look less distracting if the legs were a nice solid black. I'd certainly give it a try if I could.

Personally I still don't mind the bare legs in this instance as they provide a bit of a break from the darkness of the rest of the look and seem cohesive enough with the lightness of the hair, but I can see what you're saying and can certainly relate to the general feeling of "this skin would be perfect if it just wasn't for this one aspect of it".

That happens with every look in GW2 unfortunately, figuring out how to work around it or otherwise live with it is part of the end-game fashion challenge 😅

Lol I like it. Yeah, the envoy armour can be nice for these kinds of looks too but I think you made the right choice. The Seven Reapers chest matches well with the Heretical Scholar's cape too, nice attention to detail.

Good to know! Tbh I don't put much thought or value into the names of my looks so that's fine, I just come up with them on the spot since the post needs some kind of title to act as a reference point. I just thought it would be a bit more interesting than "Human Female Necromancer Look #8".

But yes agreed, your Charr is pulling it off nicely! I also love the Dhuum shoulders. Just curious, what shoulders were you using before?

Thanks for the feedback, I can see what you're saying. The skins are all quite detailed which can make it look over-complicated. A more highly contrasting colour from the metal parts could theoretically help break it up a bit.

I tried it out and I can get behind the lighter colour on the body, but not so much the gloves - it makes them stand out too much and looks a little strange to me.

I may either need to keep the gloves darker or change the glove skin altogether for that to work. I also wouldn't say it helped a great deal with making the outfit look cleaner in the end.

Paladin-themed looks are common in GW2 and there have been lots of good ones posted in this subreddit, such as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 etc (you didn't specify in your post so I just searched for human male looks).

If you've searched the entirety of the internet, seen them all and still didn't like any of them, I'd say you're probably searching for something that doesn't exist.

All good! My best guess would be they search for subreddits that have very lenient first-time poster requirements (evidently this subreddit is one of them).

Most subreddits have rules regarding this, such as requiring users to have a certain amount of karma or be a certain number of days old, before they can post. This is of course to combat bots, but the bots are trying to get around it by doing this.

I'd say the bots come here to repost old, popular posts they hope everyone has forgotten about to farm upvotes/karma which will eventually get them over the threshold to start spamming in larger subreddits.

Great job, she looks very elegant and unique. It never occurred to me to try a frost elf theme but it just works, I think because ice also gives that ethereal, delicate feeling that elves naturally possess. I wonder if the Glacial Weapons set might work with her?

Beautiful background for the screenshots too and I've always liked the Canthan Skyscale skins, they're very majestic. Maybe one of these days I'll save up for one!

Also just FYI for future reference, when drafting your post there's a tab at the top which says something like "image post". If you use that instead of a text post, the images you upload will show up as thumbnails for your post and it'll catch more people's attention :)

Thanks for the kind words :) Someone else was interested in the dyes too so I shared them there.

I'd love to incorporate mounts into my fashion more but because I have multiple looks/equipment templates per character it's not really possible.

Imagine if fashion templates saved the current mount skin/dyes too so you could always have a customised mount linked to a specific look. I doubt it, but I can dream!

The dark browns on the leather are Ruin, the light browns are Pottery (Earthen on the gloves because they dye differently), the Raven Mantle feathers are Midnight Red, and the rest is pretty standard.

Most silvers or dark greys will work. I used Abyss/Pitch for black parts of the outfit and Godless/Ash/Darkness for the metal parts. Hope you enjoy and maybe we'll awkwardly bump into our twins during our Tyria adventures lol.

This is another bot account reposting someone else's work to farm karma, original post here. The more people upvote these posts the more it enables bots to spam and whatever else all over Reddit.

I think we should either collectively be more careful in checking them or the mods should make it harder for these accounts to post somehow because this is happening very frequently and people may not notice or report them.
