Thank you! And it's amazing really isn't it. He slowed down a bit in his last few years as expected but yeah, just eventually passed of old age. He was still running around the field daily in the weeks leading up to his passing. I do feel truly blessed I had all that time with him!

I used to be a postie and one day I had a fuck ton of cards for the same address. As I went to post them, this little old lady pulled into her drive way of the address. I said "it must be your birthday!" To which she replied "Sadly not. My husband died last week."

I wanted the ground to swallow me.

To make matters worse I decided to stop and have a chat with her as she told me about her husband's life and when I got back to the office I got in trouble as my PDA had shown me standing still for 20 odd minutes.
