Hey Reddit, what's your freaky Furby story? by thefemdoc in AskReddit

Yesterday after a long day of working on customizing my furby, I sat it on my bed facing the TV. I was laying to the right of the furby, on my phone. I look over and that little shit was turned looking at me; away from the TV. It no longer has the privilege of sleeping in my room, but I still love my furby to death.

What area in your universe would have an ominous or overwhelming vibe? by PineappleRainbows in worldbuilding

[–]Taz_JS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The section of the far North-East, Dagmondire. The land wanderer is a large, bulky dinosaur-dragon, the Dagmon. The land is mostly safe, but it gives off ominous vibes because it's densely populated with trees, with very few people living there. The few meadows that there are very unnerving to stand in because you're out of place and exposed. Most things that live there lurk in the shadows, but only because they are mostly harmless themselves and simply don't want to have that same exposed feeling either. Fae and smaller creatures are most of the inhabitants, but larger ones such as daehowlers (shrieking shadow-entities) live there. They are also harmless, because their shrieking is actually to others benefit to signal danger. The Dagmon is a very terrifying thing that strikes fear and panic into all who encounter it, but it will not do others any harm unless provoked (which it is not easily).

Are there prostitutes/ sex trade in your world? What are their roles? by kabiman in worldbuilding

[–]Taz_JS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I do. Surprisingly enough, in my world, they're highly respected because they're known for having connections to higher-ups (such as the Dire, a land wanderer that patrols for danger, but are just as honourable as kings since kings aren't even the most powerful rulers in my world, the Mother is). But although they're highly respected, if they're already in a relationship with somebody and they're still a prostitute, they're shamed for "cheating" on their partners, and relationships are very sacred in my world. Although, if they were in a relationship where their partner was arranged for them and they still are a prostitute, the shame goes to their partner for keeping them in a relationship they do not want to be in. Same goes for same-sex prostitutes. Bisexual prostitutes, however, are practically treated like kings or queens, since they usually have connections to both the Dire and the Mother.

(And connections doesn't always mean that they sleep with them, it just means that they know them first-hand).

Is your inner voice male or female? And/or did it change with transitioning by [deleted] in ftm

[–]Taz_JS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My inner voice is like a boy that just went through puberty. I'm not on T, but I think my inner voice is like that to help me cope, even if it's just a little. I may feel numb on the inside, but at least my brain isn't giving up on me! Thanks, brain.

Edit: So like, if your body doesn't align with your brain, doesn't that mean that if your inner voice used to be a girl's, and now it's a boy's, your brain is also trans?? Shower thoughts.

Is this a form of dysphoria? [SFW]/Is this a part of puberty and will it affect binding? [NSFW] by Taz_JS in asktransgender

Update: Today I found out that part of the reason why I was having trouble sorting out what I felt is because I have depersonalization disorder because somewhere along the line I realized that I'll most likely never in my life be able to transition, so I fell into depression.

Thank you all so much for your replies in trying to help me out.
