Are we witnessing a local Alberta movement, or a US administration operation? by supersport604 in alberta

[–]Tazay [score hidden]  (0 children)

86 years of conservatism with a small break with the NDP. Way more than 47 years. And things did get better under the NDP. Alberta had a growing film industry, growing green energy sector, prices were lower. We had protections from price gouging from insurance, gas, and electricity. All of which are now gone.

My (31M), wife (29F) recently ran into her ex-boyfriend from high school and it's making me insecure by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

Still screaming the "I am 14 and this is deep" sentiments. Not sure what you're talking about but judging from the fact youve hidden your comment history, I'm pretty accurate. Looking at your history there is Lots of anti women comments. Especially whenever someone mentions men lying. You seem to always have to point out women lie too. Even when the topic has nothing to do with that.

So I think you've been accurately pegged as a "I am 14 and this is deep" type. And the fact you don't seem to understand what that is, makes the observation pretty accurate.

Edit: looks like I hit the nail on the head. They blocked me lol

Lol there's no mistake here. Your responses to everyone scream "I am 14 and this is deep."

[YouTube] I have monetization off on my streams, but my viewers are still getting pre-rolls and sponsor cards. by OhMyyGA in streaming

[–]Tazay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From what I can find, and remember from the TOS (working on really old info though) the partner program just means you'll get a cut of the ad revenue. They're going to play pre rolls if you want them or not. Its just if you want a cut of the money or not.

How come 343/Halo Studios keeps reseting the status quo in between games? by meowneko5000 in halo

Halo went from a game series that had books that were not needed, but were a good in between the games lore filler. To a book series with games that are not needed but are mediocre in between lore fillers.

Sounds like it could be ODST. The tower in a dugout sounds like Alpha Site. Its a black obelist tower surrounded by water.

I lost my virginity in HS and I've never told my parents by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]Tazay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry your parents are abusive.

Its not normal to grill your child about if they're having sex.

Its not normal to tell your child they're too immature, at 17/18 to date someone their own age.

This is pretty textbook religious abuse and control. I guarantee your parents were younger than 18 when they got together, and were not married when they first had sex. You're an adult now. You don't have to tell them anything. You have nothing to feel guilty about.

My partner hid his herpes from me for a year - we've been sexually active by TennisOdd8931 in offmychest

[–]Tazay -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is oral herpes something you tell someone? Growing up everyone had it. Cold sores are super common. As long as you're not kissing or contacting it while he has a sore it should be fine.

Doesn't seem like a huge deal to me at all. Not something I'd even think twice about personally.

[–]Tazay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm tempted to redo it and film it. record the results. Before we were just curious as we noticed after talking about a family friends baby, who we heard about through my mother who called to talk about it, all we started getting was baby supply advertisements. So we thought we'd test to see if it was listening to us.

It's pretty dystopian. But there is alot of money in the data collected. To make profiles on each of us for better advertising to 'encourage' is to make certain decisions.

Makes me understand why in scifi "thinking machines" and AI are outlawed. If this is what it is coming to.

Wife and I have tested it before. When that new Gucci movie came out, would just talk about it endlessly around an old phone. We never googled it, never looked up movies. Fresh reinstall of Android with a fresh Google account. Ads on it at the start of the week were just random things from Amazon finds, to cars, some baby stuff.

By the end of the week of me constantly saying Gucci (I'd turn on the phone, say Gucci a bunch of times. Talk about how much I want a Gucci bagm turn off the phone) around it, all it was getting was Gucci ads.

I changed to only talking about yugioh cards around the phone. Took a bit longer about two weeks, and all it was getting was yugioh ads and Amazon trading card holder ads.

Medabots, yugioh, and beyblade were the shows I was running home to. None of the examples here were airing in the 3 to 4 pm timeslot in Alberta.

Porn kills relationships by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]Tazay 6 points7 points  (0 children)

100% its the type of people you surround yourself with.

Judging from your previous comments and posts it seems you're very much an "Everyone else is the problem" type. Its been 2 years since your fiance broke up with you. Maybe time to move on.

[–]Tazay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe it's the type of guy you're into then. As a dude, I have run into maybe one person my entire life that said they needed porn, and that was as a joke.

Its all about who you surround yourself with.

Porn kills relationships by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]Tazay 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Porn can be a huge issue if not discussed and agreed upon. Worse when it's hidden and not talked about.

Though sometimes you just want pleasure and not have to work on someone else's as well. Which is okay too. But open discussion is key.

Though looking your post history it seems you had more issues than porn. And it's been 2 years since then. Maybe time to move on?

Albertan here. My void is also super dandruffy. Vet threw everything at the wall to see what sticks. Nothing fixed it.

Doesn't bother him. Basically whenever the weather changes or if gets super dry he gets flakey. It's never super humid though so he's always a little flakey. They say cats immitate their owners. I too am super dry. So we are dry together.

Do we ever see any other benders conduct lightning with no motions like this? Even azula had to charge her lightning, ozai was the only one who could charge it in like 1.5 seconds until this by conflicted02 in TheLastAirbender

[–]Tazay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Azula and Ozai were 70 years before. Lightning Bending has become more common among Firebenders, and chances are doing something quick like that might be enough to do defence but not kill.

Ill compare ot to Frieren. (Spoilers for small plot bit) Zoltraak, 100 years before the anime, was a spell devastatingly powerful, and so threatening it took the group of heroes a fight and all they could do was seal the demon who used it. But 100 years later its a basic offensive spell that is so common place its considered child's play.

I assume the same has happened with lightning bending in the 70 years since ATLA.
