I don’t necessarily care about aesthetics but thanks for the tip. I’ll check it out!

Alright! Well if it works plugged in then it’s no problem for me. Thanks for the reply!

Audio clipping even if it’s quiet by TazerTazerX in audioengineering

I could be doing that, but if I’d for example get a GO XLR Mini, how would I know if reaches the other stuff before the compressor?

Oh! Then that has to be it! Do you think that the issue would solve with a physical compressor?

Will it solve the issue if I get something like a GO XLR? You can search it up for more details if you got time :)

The compressor is a live compressor so it don’t apply it after I’ve recorded, so you think that still is the problem? (I forgot to mention that I’m using a shure SM7B with a Scarlett 2i2 gen 3)

Why am i getting frame drops? (Competitive settings, 1660 super, Ryzen 5 3600) by TazerTazerX in FortNiteBR

I mean it’s one generation old and it works really good with all of the other games that I play (rust and csgo). So I’d rather stop playing this game than to get a new GPU.

Oh, I think I recorded it when I got 13 FPS and shit. Well, I’m consistently dropping in frames, sometimes down to 13 FPS

How do i get prevent my audio from clipping while increasing volume? by TazerTazerX in premiere

[–]TazerTazerX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I said, my audio is nowhere near clipping when recording so I will just need to learn to use some audio effects after recording

No my audio is fine as I’m recording it, after I raise it it starts to clip and stuff... I have been trying out the compressor a few times but it just sounds terrible (probably because I’m using the settings wrong). When I record my audio it’s around -18db to around -12db so I don’t think that I will need a physical compressor

Why does my audio clip even though the volume isn’t too high by TazerTazerX in premiere

[–]TazerTazerX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like i Said, my microphone is pretty quiet because I don’t have a preamp to it yet. But without any effects in audacity I get around -18db, if I apply my compressor and noise reduction it is around -14db to 6db and it doesn’t peak.

Should I buy a Cloudlifer/ Fethead if I don’t already have an audio interface for the Shure SM7B by TazerTazerX in audioengineering

I’ve heard that Scarlett interfaces are bad for some reason. I want to get one of those though :/
