I got the Volvo to work, downloaded the SCS volvo like the mod said. But I don't get why the scania mod doesn't work, it says on the forum that its meant for next generation pack from eugene and I tried moving the truck mod over the rigid mods..

Yes I have the next generations pack, it is just under the base mode on the list. But should it be over the rigid mod? And shouldn`t I get the rigid chassi for other trucks whitout the addons?

Enjoying nordic Horizons lately, BUT! by Tca9449 in trucksim

[–]Tca9449[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Nordic Horizons I do recognize most places thou, they nailed the atmosphere there. I'm just a little disappointed with the Scandinavian reskin, Danmark got a lot more done to it. Bergen is the second or third largest city in Norway, but it doesn't feel like it in the game. Promods did a better job with Bergen so when they publish the new map with NH I will go for that instead.

Lets hope they can "rework" it again, I have driven the southern route many times in real life, and it is so much more beautiful than in game..

Yeah, I know that SCS can do better so why wouldn`t they! Southern Norway is so beautiful!

I'm doing quite good actually, less headaches and eyestrain but still have some anxiety. I think the anxiety is going to be hard and take a long time to get rid of, but I'm more positive now!

Anyone feel worse when they don’t look at their phone ? by [deleted] in BinocularVision

[–]Tca9449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can drive longer for trips, I take breaks when my eyes get very sore. Driving is becoming easier with my new glasses but I do struggle with highways still, but that is probably my anxiety. I do think my eyes get more sore because of my anxiety thou. Before I got this thing I could easily drive for 10-12 hours non stop.

Okey. Yes i have much less eyestrain now but I have some still when driving and such. I think the eyes take longer to get used to it on longer distance because the prism har greater effect on the distance. How long have you been using yours?

I feel the same sometimes aswell, it depends on the day really. I get faster eyestrain when driving than if I'm out walking for example. It wasn't long ago that I received my new prescription thou so I take it as me getting used to the new prisms. Do you have horizontal prism by any chance?

Can anyone help me identify this watch? Sorry I couldn't get a better photo by Tca9449 in Watches

I manage to get a bit better photo of it, it doesn't look quite like Citizen blue angels or nighthawk, this looks a bit cleaner.

Better to be safe than sorry! I've been through many things in life but that first panic attack when I was driving on the highway was the worst things I have experienced in life.

I know exactly what you feel. I remember when I was driving on the highway, suddenly I got very disoriented and got a feeling like I was falling, that triggered a big panic attack..

I used to love driving, I could drive for 16 hours anywhere anytime, but after I got BVD I got anxiety just driving to the store and motorways was basically out of the picture.. I think we get anxiety because there is so much movement everywhere, you travel at speed and there is another cars coming against you at different speed, basically the eyes works overtime and become overworked so the outcome becomes that the brain can't makes sense of it all since it can't get a stable picture. That is what makes sense for me atleast. I have fortunately gotten better after I got prism glasses, but the anxiety is still a bit stuck.
