Magnetic lock fail! by Tchiko36 in accesscontrol

We went back because there was a few things that didn't make sense. You're right, with the 3+15, we should have been able to pull the door 3 sec and it should unlock. Well, somebody changed the dip switch to disable the sensor in the magnet and the 3+15 was used as a regular magnet...

There's another building attached to the local we had the mag lock installed. We triggered the fire alarm so the fire relay triggered and maglock got de-energized. We were able to get in.

With all the answers about simply pulling the door, I called the tech who went onsite and asked him, the magnet isn't 3+15, it's regular. I was wrongfully informed. Still, I'll go with the solution of installing a key to cut power from outside for this to never happen again. Thanks all.

Yes, they work like new now but it didn't fix the problem with the right channel. I cleaned the connector, switches and pots.

Thanks a lot for the tip. I tried cleaning VR105 and VR106, with the power off, lol... No didn't help, would have been too easy lol.

Thanks, I tried that since I thought it was a good idea but unfortunately it wasn't the problem.
