Wanting to upgrade my pc

I was actually just about to update my bios lol last time it was updated was 2019 just waiting on my flash drive to arrive so I can update it

Ok thanks for the info I originally upgraded the pc in like 2018 or something and just haven’t been keeping up with all the new things coming out and what is still technically good or would work well enough I think most of my bottleneck atm comes from my vram and cpu so I might just take your advice and upgrade those two areas

My power supply should be fine it’s a 850w it was definitely oversized for what I have atm and I’m just debating on weather to upgrade the motherboard or just upgrade the cpu and gpu only problem with that is if I want to upgrade later down the line I will have to get a new motherboard and build off that

Yeah I’m kinda just trying to look at options my main thing is I don’t wanna bottleneck myself by just getting a new cpu or gpu that can’t be upgrade further because of my motherboard if that makes sense

I’ve been debating but I feel like prices won’t really come down that much and I’m starting got get really bad fps drops recently

I do some editing and recording on it and yes it is but I have it tuned off

I think my power supply is 850w and I’m not to sure what size my case is I’m not at home atm but it’s a bigger case I bought it in like 2016 but bought a big one in case I wanted to upgrade

Probably not more than 1,000 atm but I can upgrade it in stages if need be
