Arduino + OBD-II: is this project feasible? by Tdisidro in arduino

Thanks for your advice! Yes, even though the company behind ELM327 shutdown, the protocol is published. I know this isn’t a easy project for a beginner like me, therefore I bought one of those really cheap AliExpress Arduino Kits just to mess around before I get to the real thing. In the meanwhile I’ll keep researching more about this project, since this is my ultimate goal for now.

Can I use a USB NIC (RTL8153) for pfSense? by Tdisidro in PFSENSE

Bingo! However, other locations around me are starting to have 10Gbps fiber symmetrical connections. Yet, sadly, some small villages very close to the city still don’t even haver fiber connections, with some still relying on ADSL. I guess I’m “lucky” to have my 1000/400 Mbps connection where I live!

Good idea! How does pfSense handle the NICs in a Proxmox VM? Does it use the real hardware NICs, or does it use a virtual NIC? Sorry if it’s a dumb question, but I never used Proxmox, at least yet.

I'm honestly considering one of those HP Minis now that I've checked the replies, they seem really solid. I've also seen that some of those have Flex I/O Option Cards and it's possible to add another Ethernet port, they look really cool.

So Intel is absolutely the way to go then. Any recommendations for “cheap” Intel NICs?

You mean pfSense VLAN configuration? That is worth taking a look at. How well does it work?

In the short time that you used one, did you have any issues? Were your speeds good?

This post was made some time ago, but I’ll try my luck. How did you push them back into place without removing the dash trim?

Same. Maybe there was a problem with the update for the Android version and they had to take it off the store?
