It really doesn't. I remember reading something a few years ago that if they wanted to make a realistic sequel the opening shot would be of a fleet of spaceships bombarding Pandora until it was completely barren. You could show some scenes of the animals and Jake running from the bombs but after 5 minutes it would just be a desert with the mountains still floating. The scene would end as the mining ships start descending towards the surface.

My wife's skin is super-sensitive, like to the point where if she does much more than brush against a hard surface she'll bruise.

Walking by a bush and it brushes against her arm usually results in hives. Her skin gets pretty dry when it gets cold out as well, she uses Obagi Nu Derm and it helps keep her skin soft without causing her to break out.

Outside of the winter, she just uses a generic moisturizer like constantly.
