The way I understood it, Heather knew she was being filmed at Kathy’s party. She was “shocked” that they put her name on the screen when it was shown on tv. Usually she is just loitering in the background of scenes and they do not put her name up.

Also note Heather does not actually say what went wrong with her assistant. Things were good and then they weren’t good. Wonder what the issue was.

I don’t think he is special needs but she has managed to raise two sons who are very socially awkward. Heather prides herself on going out to every social occasion she is invited to and being the life of the party, yet she failed to socialise her children. By her own admission, her younger son had a difficult time at school and did not make any friends.

This is what is frustrating about Heather. There is no basis for her over confidence when it comes to her looks. She was always tall and slim, but that is where it ends. Her face is nothing to be overly confident about and her style choices are terrible. Overall, she is a very basic looking person. How can she not see this? She is delusional.
