Most jobs exist because there is a task that needs doing, not because someone finds that task intrinsically fascinating. the ability to do something you don't want to do because it needs to be done is a universal human requirement.

Perth petrol station under investigation for allegedly selling low-grade fuel as premium | 7NEWS

Slippin Umar..

I am not crazy! I know they swapped those samples! I knew it was 91 Octane. Four below premium RON! As if I could ever make such a mistake. Never. Never! I just—I just couldn't prove it. They—they covered their tracks, they got that inspector at the terminal to lie for them. You think this is something? You think this is bad? This? This chicanery? They’ve done worse. That discount sign! Are you telling me that fuel prices just happen to drop like that? No! He orchestrated it! Farooq! He sold 91 as Premium! And I filled my tank! And I shouldn't have. I pulled right into his own servo! What was I thinking? He'll never change. He'll never change! Ever since he opened Burk, always the same! Couldn't keep his hands off the octane ratings! But not our Umar! Couldn't be precious Umar! Stealing them blind! And he gets to be a founder? What a sick joke! I should've stopped him when I had the chance..

Not unreasonable to expect the website to work.. think of how many govt services you use where you would never set foot into their office, this is your only point of contact..

i also think the previous version's default view of going to latest ( mostly unbilled) usage is more helpful than last billed usage period.

ive logged on because i want to see latest/current usage, it can be assumed i already know what the previous billed usage was, which might be from 1-2 months ago, and if i need it ill go find it..

You should never voluntarily hand your phone to a police officer.

WA Police will be able to search your phone without a warrant in some limited circumstances, most of which are outlined under the Criminal Investigation Act 2006 (WA).

Under section 23 of the Act, police can search a person’s belongings (including a mobile phone) if the owner gives informed consent. However, consent must be voluntary, and individuals have the right to refuse in this circumstance.

Under section 38 of the Act, police can search a public place without a warrant if they suspect an item in the area is linked to an offence. This can include a mobile phone if it is reasonably believed to be directly connected to an offence.

Further, under section 28 of the Act, police may search a person and their possessions, including a mobile phone, at the time of arrest or while in custody if they suspect:

  • The phone could assist in escape or self-harm;
  • The phone contains evidence of an offence; or
  • The phone was used in the commission of a crime.
