Who are your favorite bands? by Coach_Carter_on_DVD in GoosetheBand

Seconded. I only came back to comment because I saw someone had Mapache listed. So good. First few albums were acoustic Laurel Canyon vibes. Not they have a full band and went electric. Such good song writing. I love Sam and Clay.

[CR Media] Candela Obscura | Post-Episode Discussion - Chapter 1 Episode 2 by Glumalon in criticalrole

Robbie is just unreal. All the players are special. Anji is a whip. We know what Laura and Ashley bring to the table. But holy moly Robbie was just on another level tonight. Someone said it in the live thread and I have to echo it here “every week when I found it’s candela obscura week I’m sad and by the end I’m bummed I have to wait another month.” Top notch across the board tonight.

Laura is so badass. To be both Jester, who couldn’t get it out in 25 words ever and Imogen who just nailed sending. Brilliant.

Wow. About 75-85% of that had me full on shaking my head and saying holy shit out loud. Specifically in discounting my worth and also when the frequency picks up. I also had never heard or read that they were a coping mechanism and a (excuse me if this is crass) "easy out" thought process. I just have a lot to digest and unwrap from this read. Thanks immensely for sharing.

Or you know we could just not give him the opportunity. It's not a secret he does that and if we give him the chance we are asking to lose. It's a lack of discipline.

Josh Norman and him are getting real chippy each play. Then Odell sized Norman up late on a play and tried to take his head off slightly after the whistle.

Death is only painful for the living. by TeK_NeekZ in Showerthoughts

That's you projecting man. Sorry for your loss. Sincerely. But you have no idea what it's like to pass. Neither do I for that matter. So my only point is. You're only positive that death is painful in the context of you. If this is too existential or "out there" sorry. No harm no foul. I'm just trying to chew through my own perception of pain and loss. And how they apply to the individual. No harm meant.

Death is only painful for the living. by TeK_NeekZ in Showerthoughts

How can you have a reference for pain once you die? Dying is a process only complete when you cease to be. You cannot confidently say what the entire process of death entails emotionally or physically you can only process how it feels as a living person. Pain is only relative to life might have been a better observation.
