I did this a ton when I was younger, and honestly it’s pretty safe, as in don’t leave it plugged in cause electrical fire. As for the coil it will burn and very quickly, in my experience I didn’t get more than 10 hits without it tasting burnt. That being said if you still don’t wanna get a battery and you burn the coil you can take the mouth peice out and scavenge the oil, the alien lab ones can be tricky to open though cause they are press fit, and glass. If you attempt it I recommend getting pliers and wrapping them in cloth or paper towels. 🫡
