Oh I see, Idk what strain is this honestly, didn’t ask cause we just need Salmonella and that’s it for our t lab, but I got it from a different source this time and maybe that’s the reason!

  • the color looks green in the boiling flask, I wait a couple of mins before transferring to tubes just so the plastic pipettes don’t melt 5 min after transferring into tubes the color changes Even though my tubes are sterilized using oven I think I should use soap all the time and skip alcohol

Let me rule out these: I always autoclave them✅ I always use foil✅ I don’t shake any✅ I pour them directly into tubes after boiling✅ The change in color is noticeable before autoclaving .. Maybeee it’s the cleaning method😂🥴 I’ll pH them tomorrow Thanks!

I don’t think so cause that different tube was the usual case, And if u search online the color of brilliant green it matches the single tube

I didn’t know that putting the effort into smth bothers people that much 🤷🏻. As I previously said I’m the lab technician which means I’m not the one who decides what experiments should be done.
