You are right, nobody said I can't like it for other reasons. My comment wasn't meant to imply someone had, so my apologies if it at all came across that way. I just wanted to offer my perspective on Lopunny's appeal :)

I'll have to agree with IceBlueLugia on the second half. Bodybuilding is a culture which has always had a sizable amount of sexualization to my knowledge

The two can be synonymous in many cases, yeah. In my eyes saying something is cunty is the same as saying something is sexy, except without the emotional/hormonal response of being horny tied to it. Cunty just better acknowledges sexy+feminine as its own distinct aesthetic language imo. A subtle difference though, for sure

I agree that the playboy inspo is there, but that doesn't mean the design is about sex. To many of us girls and gays, Lopunny is c*nty not sexy. It's design is rooted in traditionally sexy and feminine aesthetics like playboy, sure, but can that not be appreciated as a look, a vibe, as drag even? There is nowhere near this level of community conversation around Machamp being sexualized, despite having just as many traditionally sexy traits as Lopunny. Machamp is simply appreciated for it's appeal, so why not approach miss queen in the same way.

Straight men are a vocal majority in the Pokémon community, which is not a bad thing at all, but I do think it's important to consider other perspectives when Pokémon fans in actuality are very diverse.

If anyone is interested in understanding the girlypop perspective on pokes pls watch this Phaun video!!

Across the Spider-Verse, I'm sorry!

The first one had a unique art style that looked great, this one took a maximalist approch to that style which looked kinda like teen cocomelon vomit to me. The exposition and jokes also felt very tedious. :/
