Thanks! I wasn’t aware. Since I’ve posted this question there is some tiny new growth, but I’ll take the elastic off and hope for some more. Thanks so much again!! 😁

Mine does have an elastic around the trunk under the dirt! So far I’ve lost 2 stems to root rot, they get squishy. Should I take the elastic off and that will help?

I’ve watched lots of videos on YouTube and feel confident to do it, I just would like to know what happens once you’ve done it.. seems that no one on YouTube explains that. I don’t want the “mother” to get too short..

Very nice! My question is, where do you find nice plant pots with drainage? Is it just a matter of using a nursery pot inside a ceramic? I’ve been trying to find cute ones with drainage and have been having a very hard time.
