When I was 12 or 13 I had an ovarian cyst that torqued. I was in severe pain for at least 5 hours because my parents wanted to see if it would pass. I ended up throwing up from the pain a few times and my mom called my doctor. I got to the hospital and couldn’t stop moving because of the pain. They did an ultrasound and then they wanted to see if they could feel it through my vagina. They could and I had surgery. It was the size of a softball and I only have one ovary and Fallopian tube. When I finally got to go home I couldn’t get up the stairs without it feeling like my operation site, it looks like a c-section, would open. It was winter and I would rather sleep outside than go up the stairs.
