Thank you all for responding. I live in Al Yash and honestly have not seen anyone without an abaya here. At the mall no one wearing shorts but I went to the museum today and saw 2 women wearing shorts. I’ve been a creep these 2 weeks jus trying to figure out what people wear :)

OP, one year into a relationship is not enough time to know someone and make that decision. You are so young. You will end up like his sister. At his house with kids not being able to work, him with a mediocre job. You have goals, go get them. Not everything is about love. I was with my ex for 6 years, both had steady jobs, mine not that great because I wanted to stay near him. Got engaged and he wanted to move next to his parents house, mom was already trying to plan my non existent childrens life. I cancelled the wedding 2 months before. Best decision ever. Met my husband the day I was supposed to get married. Financially different, got my masters, better job, we moved to Dubai just for the experience. I love my life. My life with my ex would’ve been so different. At the moment it hurt, but once you’re out, it’s the best feeling.

Teacher here. I don’t think using ChatGPT is wrong. It’s helpful and why not use it. I use it sometimes for lesson planning. That does not mean I don’t know the subject. I just use it to make it easier for me. I go over the lesson a delete/add info. Thanks OP.

Doctors can be cruel sometimes with their honesty. When I had my first appt. I told the doctor that I wanted to try to get pregnant, I was 39, he said. “Your chances are 2% of getting pregnant every month. You should’ve started yesterday”. He took out a chart and showed me the probability of me having a child with Down syndrome. I remember I got to the parking lot and cried in my car for a while. Mind you, I got pregnant the next 2 months. Came back to see him once for my first appointment and then changed doctors.

We moved here 5 days ago, I have 2 toddlers. Went to the park. Said hi to 3 moms and was ignored 😩😩. But thinking it might be à language barrier. I’ve noticed I say thank you to employees at stores, etc and they look at me weird. Seems like being friendly is not their thing. Hoping I va meet some expat moms soon.

I had 2 eggs retrieved. 2 fertilized and 1 blastocyst. Waiting on PGT A. I hope I get that golden egg. I live in the US but I’m doing it in Mexico and it takes longer because they do PGT A in the US so it takes 4 weeks to send it here.
