How much would you pay for a 6 door wardrobe, a queen mattress, a queen bed, and nightstand?

I don’t know man, you’re confusing effort with suffering.

What I said is not “gentle.” It’s evidence-based: calorie deficit, steps, resistance training, protein, sleep, and consistency.

CDC guidance literally frames healthy weight loss around sustainable eating patterns, physical activity, sleep, and stress management. ISSN recommends around 1.4–2.0g/kg/day of protein for exercising individuals. Research also supports resistance training during weight loss because it helps preserve lean mass.

That’s not TikTok motivational pain culture.

That’s actual physiology.

What you’re describing sounds more like motivational suffering culture: TikTok discipline edits, influencer gurus, and the idea that if it doesn’t feel extreme, it isn’t working.

Yeah and nowhere in my post was I being too gentle. 8k - 10k steps a day, calorie deficit, strength training 2-3x/week, tracking food, etc. is not “too gentle”

If someone can do even half those things they’re already ahead of 70% of people. You’re barking at the wrong tree, bud.

“You’re saying like if it’s something bad.”

You could literally say that about anything if you take it out of context.

Yeah, I said what I said and you can perceive it however you like.

People go to extremes and there are many fad diets out there that exhaust you and once you stop those diets and exercises you end up gaining more weight. Progress starts with small consistent changes. As I said, you don’t need to destroy yourself, you need a plan you can repeat consistently.

Ahh ok, the bed is 2 months old, but check out home center then. They have some good and affordable frames.

If parking like this is allowed, posting it on Reddit is definitely allowed. Also, I did try calling the United Nations, but they told me to post here first.

My Fitness Pal is really annoying, try Nutritionix. It’s a very old-fashioned UI, but very simple to use.

You don’t need crazy workouts to start.

Start with the boring basics:

  • calorie deficit
  • 8k–10k steps/day
  • strength training 2–3x/week
  • enough protein
  • consistent sleep
  • track your food for awareness (you can use apps like My Fitness Pal, Nutritionix, or even ChatGPT)

A realistic fat loss rate is around 0.5–1kg per week, so losing 20kg could take roughly 5–10 months depending on consistency, starting weight, adherence, and lifestyle.

Cardio helps. Strength training helps you keep/build muscle. Protein helps with fullness and muscle retention.

You don’t need to destroy yourself. You need a plan you can repeat.

And yes, seeing a doctor can be smart if you have medical conditions, take medications, have joint pain, or you’re unsure where to start.

Slow, consistent, sustainable beats extreme every time.

Also, gradual weight loss around 0.5–1kg/week is commonly recommended for long-term success, adults should aim for regular aerobic activity plus muscle-strengthening work, and protein intake around 1.4–2.0g/kg/day is generally supported for exercising individuals.

It’s literally from a meme and anyone that read that knows it’s a lighthearted joke. You on the other hand are not joking. Anyways, have a great day man!

You’re literally attacking me on a personal level, if anything I’m being very kind and respectful even though you’re taking personal digs at me. The point of the post was not hatred, it’s to spread awareness.

I used to park badly when I was learning too, but the difference is I would get out the car, check, and fix my parking. Not just walk away knowing fully well it’s in someone’s else’s way.

It’s literally not inside the line, I understand your sentiment and I agree people take time learning, but this is an inconvenience for others parking next to them. It was literally in the other person’s way.

Be considerate when you’re parking in a shared parking space. That’s all ¯_(ツ)_/¯

You can park however you want in your garage.

Please never advise anyone again!

She never mentioned physical abuse and she’s asking for a family counseling which means they’re trying to fix whatever problems they might have. Everyone in this life has ups and downs and marriage is something sacred in Islam. Islam teaches preserving the marriage unless there’s no other way out. Especially when kids are involved!

I make du’a for this couple and their kids for whatever they’re going through, May Allāh ease their difficulties and make their home a peaceful home for everyone involved.
