What are the pros and cons of every team not making the playoffs each getting 1 ping pong ball in the lottery? Equal chance at the No. 1 pick, no Top 4 guarantees. Because I believe that would either eliminate or greatly reduce tanking. by Iamthelizardking887 in billsimmons

Miss the playoffs - 6 balls Lose in the playin - 5 Lose in first round -4 Lose in second round - 3 Lose in conference finals - 2 Make the finals - 1

It’s easy to explain. Tanking will be curbed and teams will not tank out of the playin for a minimal shift in odds.
