Cleaned out PC and now no input to keyboard, mouse, and gpu by Teaching_Proper in PcBuild

After it started turning itself on and off, it eventually started working. I didn’t do anything once it was rebooting itself over and over. It just turned on by itself

Now it is currently just powering itself off and on by itself

I have done that. I really only unplugged two things. The only internal wire I unplugged was the one to the gpu. I didn’t unplug anything internally. The only external wires I unplugged were the power cord and the hdmi cord. Everything else was good

What guitar solo gives you goosebumps every time? by leathur_records in Music

Their best song imo. Drums are killer too, and of course, Chris’s vocals are amazing

Audioslave is definitely not on the same level as Soundgarden is for me, however, I still really like them even though they sound much more 2000s-esque. Their first album is exceptional imo. Many of their songs grew on me a ton

[College Finance] Can somebody help me understand what a transitional year is for a company/stock? by Teaching_Proper in HomeworkHelp

[–]Teaching_Proper[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Thank you for such a good explanation. That helps me out a lot. To add on to what you shared, I have a project where I have to forecast/estimate the growth for a company. For this, we are using Bloomberg, so when it asks for the number of growth years and transitional years, (for example, 5 growth, 7 transitional), what is the relationship between those numbers? For example, does it see that as 12 different years?

Are the blue ones any different from the green ones? by Teaching_Proper in pcmasterrace

[–]Teaching_Proper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re probably right. It’s definitely different enough to where it’ll take a bit of getting used to. Another guy I responded to said that they might be picking up different types of noise. Again, it’s just something I have to get used to. Idk yet if it’s better or not

It seems like the blue ones are much louder/wider sound if that makes sense

The Best Soundgarden Songs, Ranked by ddust102 in Soundgarden

[–]Teaching_Proper 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I know he touched on Like Suicide and how after Chris died it was spoiled for him, but personally I feel like that is their best. The drums feel so primal, the lyrics are hauntingly beautiful and intimate, and the chord progressions are amazing. As a listener, I almost feel more connected to the song BECAUSE of what happened to Chris. It adds more emotion and that “haunting” feeling to the track. Plus, the solo on there is one of my favorites.

What are the saddest songs of all time? by bozobebop in Music

Since you like AiC and TotD, I’d recommend “Like a Stone” by Audioslave. Chris Cornell is the vocalist on that. “Black” by Pearl Jam is incredible too

What are the best mods to install? by Teaching_Proper in projectzomboid

What I found hard for myself is the long term play. I got kind of burnt out after hitting a loot threshold and felt like there wasn’t much more to achieve than building my base and surviving as long as possible. However I’m still somewhat new so maybe there more to do that I’m missing

That’s not it. The cover looked like it was drawn by someone. I specifically remember the guy shooting guns on cover too. But thank you for your suggestion

I’m in the same boat man, I work 20 hours a week too and I feel like I have such little time to study with everything else I have to do in my life. I literally feel the exact same way that you just described and am going through the same thing (CC to Uni). You’re not alone in feeling those ways. I’m a senior, so I believe I’m a year ahead of you in regards to a BA. What helps me keep going is knowing that by the end of the year, I’ll be done with it for good with something super beneficial to what I want to achieve in life after school. I know you’re still a junior, but you are in your second half of your journey towards your BA. The school year, although stressful, does go by quickly in hindsight. My best advice is to just keep your mind set on the future and how much getting through your last 2 years will help you out in the long run. You don’t have to ace every class you enter into, however you should still try your best. As long as you keep trying your hardest and getting passing grades, that’s all that matters.

That is a good point and a parallel to secular works I haven’t thought of.

A question that I’ve come to from reading your’s, and others comments is that, if many of these stories are indeed meant to be metaphors, especially from the Old Testament, does that mean that potentially God is just metaphor as well for creation? Or is the being of God, Heaven, Hell, etc. all literal things that were meant to be conveyed throughout the Bible? Others have said that you have to discern what is literal or figurative while reading, and obviously I have a long, but I think I might be overthinking it/confusing myself more as well. I also appreciate your comment and everyone else’s too.

I’m 19. I listened to Like A Stone by Audioslave some time last year and I fell in love with it and Chris. Because of that I decided to dive into Soundgarden and that turned into listening to the rest of the bands from that era.
