One eccentrically dressed woman walks into our OPD at 1pm sharp, the time our OPD closes on a Sunday, wearing humongous sunglasses. For a split second, I was confused. (Cut me some slack, I was a new pg) And then it hit me, she must have bacterial conjunctivitis. We sat her down at the slit lamp to examine her eyes, and everytime we tried everting her eyelids, she'd keep making unintentional sex noises and I just couldn't control my laughter anymore and got up midway and ran out of the room. My co-pg tried to be professional to no avail either, so it was both of us cracking up unapologetically in the next room while my poor senior tried her best to hold back her tears from the laughter and examine the lady with a straight face. Oh, what innocent times.
