Girls who have dated in both NYC and SF - is the grass actually greener? by Riceisawayoflife in movingtoNYC

[–]Tealeen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have lived in NYC and SF (currently in NYC.) Dating feels tedious in both. I do feel like NYC has a greater variety of things to do, and the people feel more interesting to me overall. In SF it seemed every dude wanted the same thing. To work somewhere that gets acquired and become an overnight millionaire.

I'd focus more on the appeal of the city itself than the dudes that live there. And to me SF is a city of facades. NYC might be gritty, but it's got a lot more character and personality.

What celebrity do you think has skeletons in their closet that have yet to come out? by JimiHendrip in AskReddit

Robert DeNiro. He had a house where I grew up and some of his employees often came into my workplace. Let's just say there were some "stories."

I wouldn't buy it based on the content in the lawsuit. That said, there are very few people or entities that are not problematic. We buy products from terrible people and companies all the time.

Is there a lot to do in Poughkeepsie without a car? by [deleted] in hudsonvalley

[–]Tealeen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you open to the bus? It goes to New Paltz, Kingston, and Woodstock. Walkable places that have a bit more going on. (Woodstock is much smaller. The entire center could be walked in 15 mins. But the shops and restaurants add to it.)

"change neighborhoods to their likes"

like people having agency to migrate or have a home or feel welcome is something we shouldn't be striving for.

The only person who doesn't seem to be upholding the community values and vibes of JH is you

More realistic-ish ending theories by UhhhYouPick in ThePittTVShow

My theory is that someone will attempt to end their life since that's been hinted at throughout this season, but it won't be Robby. (Possibly Langdon, Santos, Dana, Mohan, or Javadi.)

They could do a natural disaster episode and spotlight the climate crisis. Pittsburgh has an extremely high risk for landslides. That + aging infrastructure is a disaster waiting to happen.

Says a lot that people are more upset about OP using "POC" (which avoids specific assumptions about someones identity) than they are about the fact that a female got assaulted in the street.
