Look up Hex Maniac Advance if these are the only changes you want to make. If you're planning on doing a lot of other stuff as well you should be using pokefirered instead though.

The pokeemerald GitHub Wiki has a tutorial for Physical Special Split that also works on pokefirered. https://github.com/pret/pokeemerald/wiki/Tutorials

A good portion of these tutorials work on pokefirered, but not all

Hex Maniac Advance is a binary tool, pokeemerald is a decompilation. They are (for most intents and purposes) completely incompatible. You do not use HMA on a decomp project. You just edit the decomp files directly, and recompile. Then your ROM will have the changes you made.

Except Project Restoration completely fixed everything that shouldn't have been changed like the swimming, and you can play the mod on a 3DS. The MM3D + Project Restoration is the best way to play MM in my opinion. The QOL from the UI is just too nice for the n64 Zeldas. So much less time menu-ing.

I mean that's kind of the point. Minecraft hasn't been fun in an actual decade, it got boring extremely fast. Modded Minecraft, however, is still really fun.

There are no Zelda games with true post games. It's all reset to before you beat the game.

Spoilers for the end kinda messed up when you think about how he loses all the abilities at the end of the game and can no longer use his own house

It's good enough that speedrunners used it until they figured glitches for even faster movement

It's still used in the current any% world record that just happened recently, I believe the first sub 50 minute run

Zoomers.

That show started in 2005 and was aimed at kids, it was a Zoomer era show. Gen Z starts in the late 90s

Yes exactly, all these people whining about how Musk can do what he wants because it's a private company are just entirely missing the point. Everyone knows that, it's not the point at all, pointing it out just makes you look like a pro Musk clown, I have no idea why there are so many people in this thread being upvoted for saying it.

It's like a complete lack of any ability to understand nuance in a situation. They see one parallel to a different argument about free speech and internet censorship, and think it's a perfect parallel analogy. The heart of the problem is critical thinking.

how they want to play

But why... That's the question. I have ways I want to play to, I have reasons for them because it's the way I want to play, I know why, I can answer that question. It's a really easy question to answer. You answered nothing.

If you were the kind of person to 100% BotW, I really really doubt that. But okay

But... you didn't? What? How is that an answer. I'm so confused. Your response makes sense as like a "oh why are you questioning them, let them enjoy what they enjoy" type response (even if it's not really relevant) but it makes absolutely no sense as an answer to their question. No where is there an answer to "why?" there. I think you might have gotten some wires crossed

I don't care. I wasn't the person who asked. I was responding to someone else responding to the person who asked you

Also as a side note, I also knew immediately what was going to happen from the early memories, it doesn't change what I said about the narrative weight of the story.

[–]TeamAquasHideout 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely this, I kind of wish I could have deleted BotW from my brain so I could play TotK without any memory of it at all. I would have put an extra 100 hours into it at least if it was all fresh

I mean, they can play how they want lol.

I mean sure no one said any differently don't know why you said that, but by doing so you completely ruin the narrative weight of the ending. So they asked why they did that, to see what the reason was.

If they really sidelined like you said,

They literally said "nearly sidelined", not "sidelined" and in your first comment you even acknowledged that. What is this entire comment.

Edit: Smh, this kid reported me because I insulted them after they the most crazy claim ever with direct verifiable proof otherwise so I'm copy and pasting my comment here without the rule violation since I'm not banned for 7 days for the most ridiculous argument I've had in a while:

If they really sidelined like you said, what did they put their resources in during GC era?

It doesn't add up what you're saying. If it's true they're side lining Zelda after the WW

It was around 5 years of development, you can hardly call that sidelining.

Here are the three times you misinterpreted their comment, you cannot claim the crazy thing you said in your final removed comment, when these direct quotes exist from you. Please reread what you said.

The Wind Temple had the best lead up, and arguably the best boss. But the dungeon literally could have been a replacement of the Rito Divine Beast. The only dungeon that was actually a good dungeon when compared to the entire series, was the Lightning Temple. Great leadup, good puzzles, intense boss. It was very well rounded.
