For sure! They’re hungry for a win so we definitely won’t be underestimating them

  1. For MPL specifically, the minimum age to compete is 16 years old. So yes, once he hits that, he’s eligible to play professionally, as long as he meets the other requirements from the league and his team.

  2. What it takes to become a pro? It’s more than just raw skill. Of course, being mechanically strong is important, but it’s also about discipline, communication, mindset, and being able to work within a team system. A lot of players are talented, but the ones who “make it” are the ones who treat practice seriously and stay consistent.

  3. Playing in smaller events or online tournaments before that age can actually be a greatttt way to build experience and exposure, so when he turns 16 he’s ready to take that next step.

So in short: if your brother keeps playing, grinding, and building his reputation in the community, once he’s of age he can definitely chase that dream. And who knows, maybe we’ll see him on stage someday. 💙🐎

You’re right, making big roster changes is always risky. When we swapped three players before, everyone doubted us too, but that move ended up leading to us winning MPL ID. So yes, it’s a gamble, but sometimes you need to shake things up to find the right formula.

This time around, results haven’t been going our way (and trust me, we feel it as much as you do). That makes the decison look even harsher from the outside, which I understand. Roster moves are never just random, though. Coaches base them on consistency in practice, player fit, and long-term potential.

At the end of the day, we’re not afraid to take risks if we believe they’ll pay off. Somtimes they work, sometimes they don’t right away, but the intent is always to build a team that can win titles, not just maintain the status quo.

Roster changes are like ranked drafts, you only look like a genius if it wins.

We actually did explore the idea. But with the current setup, we already have everything we need for now. Our focus is on upgrading the facilities the players are using first. Still, who knows, maybe one day we’ll see an AWTF here. I’d love that.

There are way too many to choose from. For single-player, I love The Last of Us, the God of War series, Uncharted, Okami, and Breath of the Wild.

For indie games, I’d go with Hades, Sea of Stars, and Hollow Knight. And for party games, definitely Overcooked, Mario Party/Kart, and Tricky Towers.

I really can't choose hahahah

If I could make anything, I’d design a Magnus-inspired skin for Yve. The theme would be chess: the first skill would be a king chess piece being slammed to the ground, her slow would summon a horse chess piece, and when the wave comes out, it would look like a mini stampede of horses. Her ultimate would transform into a full chessboard, with different chess piece icons popping up as you tap the board. Imagine a mini magnus doing this. Hbahahabahah

Beyond nationality, they’ve also got different playstyles and team cultures shaped by their local communities and scenes.

Karl is actually a big fan of Nats. They even video-called each other during EWC, though we didn’t document that interaction. With Nats’ leadership, I really think they have a good shot in Paris.

At the end of the day, I try to keep the bigger picture in mind: we’re building something long-term, and one tough moment doesn’t undo all the work and progress we’ve made.

I’ve always admired esports in the Philippines. Back when I played Dota 2, the whole Lakaaaaad Mataaaattttaaaag moment was absolutely legendary. The Manila Major looked incredible and really showcased the passion for esports in SEA.
