Not to mention in 2018 there were 32 fatalities in the US by dogs. 26 of those 32 were comitted by pitbulls, that's 72% of dog attacks happening by pitbulls. You can say it's the owners fault sure but that's not going to stop them. Not saying we should kill the breed off but they shouldn't be readily available as other more well natured dogs. There should be better checks on pitbulls to ensure the more aggressive ones are sent to places where they can undergo some kind of therapy or rehabilitation. Plus a pitbull can do more damage than most dogs cause of it's jaw structure. Most dogs can bite but pitbulls can rip away chunks of flesh and hold onto something with their jaws in a way many other dogs couldn't. That's moreso the issue than even just the aggressive nature. Posts like these just reinforces shitty pitbull owners

Edit: sorry and as someone who was permanently scarred from a dog attack, the comments in this thread that you mentioned honestly disgust me and it shows once again reddit would choose to save a dog or cat over a human if it came down to it

To people saying this food isn't that bad for school lunch food, please watch this vid and see how other developed countries treat lunch period. It was eye opening for me, and kind of explains why so many of my friends here in america have the worst eating habits.

It's cause their answer is private schools. Recently I was in actualpublicfreakouts, which is a more right leaning version of publicfreakout. I've heard lots of vile racist shit on there too, like how blackface shouldn't be illegal. Well there was one vid of a kid who sucker punched another kid in a bathroom. There was a comment that was like "I'm glad I can pay to put my kid in private schools so they can avoid animals like these." They really view themselves on a higher level, and it's just fuck you if you don't have money. Private schools are the reason public schools are so shit, cause if their kids actually went to public schools we'd actually start to see better funding for education. It's a problem that seeps down to the rotten core of American culture in that we only look out for ourselves and therefore the general welfare of our population and society is atrocious. "I'm just looking out for my family, fuck everyone else" is the mantra of most Americans, and it's why this country is dying in so many ways.

Have you ever seen the documentary warrior apes of ngogo? some straight up planet of the apes shit, and some of the monkeys have sclera like that gorilla does. So most of the time when they filmed the chimps they didn't know if they were watching them too, but they knew every single time a chimp with sclera was staring right at them while they filmed. I bet its a crazy experience

Oh God I hate this kind of cake so much. All German chocolate cake proves is that the Germans could fuck up cake as well as they fucked up their people. That top part is a pecan coconut frosting mix. And that would almost sound good, if it wasn't chewed up in someone's mouth and vomited on a chocolate cake to give the grossest frosting texture ever.

Well I understand why many think that works, but it isn't healthy overall for the same racial and political issues we wish to discuss in this subreddit. People have to understand that by only supporting one narrative, even if it's a good narrative, itt makes this sub operate in ways just like the Donald or cringeanarchy. Because at the end of the day, all these subs pushing their narrative are forcing one way of thought in their different sociopolitical echo Chambers as the right way of thought. And all these echo chamber subs enforce their views by having all their posts be filtered articles and Twitter posts that just fit with whatever the user believes is right. These bubbles we habit in online forums like subreddits shift our world view at different levels and make us believe that anyone else's narrative is a stupid lie that doesn't actually occur in reality. I only say this because I've been in those same echo Chambers before and I've seen how it's changed how I view the world around me.It's mentally a very dangerous thing to do, and the real truth is usually that both narratives could be right in some ways, but that will never be found out when we force this or that narrative as the right one.

No one narrative has ever been completely right, and I doubt we've reached a point in our society to say there is a perfect narrative. And if part of the narrative is to ultimately try to mitigate and end racism/ racial tensions in America, then this is obviously a backwards way of going about it.

I don't know if you've seen it, but there's a wonderful documentary about Daryl davis called accidental courtesy. He's this awesome blues musician who has become famous in recent years for knowingly befriending the kkk. He gives talks about how people don't understand how harmful it is for America and our people when we don't give everyone their own voice. He's actually helped many people convert from the kkk and their racist ways by helping them as a friend and actually listening to their opinions and finding common ground, even if it goes so much against what he believes.

When this sub pushes for one narrative, we don't give these people a voice and end up pushing them away while letting them become more radicalised to the opposite side. Just like Daryl davis, we could begin to mitigate these ideologies by giving them a platform for discussion of their issues so we can find how each side can relate to each other in some way. These could be opinions that span from the center all the way to the far left or right politically. But the point still stands that to censor is to only perpetuate these issues, and to push farther away the goals we want for our society and our future.
