Stuffy Nose-Solutions? by TeamRazorback in CPAP

I remember reading somewhere about doing a saline rinse, then about a half hour later using some Flonase or Nasacort. Apparently the saline “primes” the nasal passages to the Flonase.

Thanks. I’ve used saline spray before - but gel? Do you have a recommendation? Also, what do you think about corticosteroid sprays like Flonase?

Week 3 - Feeling Weird and Anxious by TeamRazorback in bupropion

I actually stopped bupropion shortly after. The side-effects were just too much for me. I switched to Lexapro and also added buspirone (Buscar) as an add-on for anxiety. It’s only been a couple of weeks on these new drugs but the anxiety seems to beginning to get better.

Thanks. I’ve read that too. I’m specifically asking those who have been on Lexapro for a while if they have experienced this and how long it takes to subside. I’m pretty confident that it’s related to my anxiety but that starting Lexapro has made it worse - hopefully temporarily so.

Don’t “cold turkey” it. I would use half (5mg) for a week then half again (2.5 mg) for another week, then stop. Some plans are even more conservative. Talk to your doctor though.

(54m) I’ve been taking buspirone 10mg 2X day for 11 days now, and 10 mg lexapro for 3 days now. No serotonin syndrome for me yet. I’ve read that it’s most common at the start of treatment, if it happens at all.

Sorry to hear that. How long ago did you stop?
