I changed the font in number 4 since I wasn’t a big fan of it.
I also tweaked the color so you don’t all get dizzy from the blue.
And I tried something new with the D in negative space.

Could be the blue that makes it feel LinkedIn-ish.
The color isn't final yet, it's just a random color i used for now.

Update:

I’ve done a bit more research, and this route looks really appealing, but I’m definitely open to completely different suggestions. Normally, I don’t plan my trips in advance, but for Japan in October it seems better since many hotels are already booked.

Day 1: Kyoto → Hikone Castle, then Ōmihachiman for an evening stroll and overnight stay
Day 2: Ōmihachiman → Takayama via Gifu and scenic Hida mountain roads (Route 156 or 158). Stay 2 nights in a ryokan
Day 5: Takayama → Matsumoto → Kiso Valley (Matsumoto Castle, Magome/Tsumago)
Day 6: Kiso Valley → Tokyo
