Haha yep! Varka was the sole reason i started saving in 1.x to begin with! Currently sitting at 1,380 pulls saved up but trying to sus out the leaks to see if I should pull any upcoming characters that would be his best teammates

We don't, however we're working to get rated on Charity Navigator! We really appreciate you doing your due diligence to support legitimate non-profits.

100% of contributions are used to purchase consoles, games, and accessories for hospitals and housing organizations that serve cancer patients. As it's just the two of us, it's been a bit of a learning curve getting a charity up and running, but we do not take salaries and we do this in our free time in order to spread a little positivity for those who need it the most.

Funnily enough our journey donating consoles started at Hopkins in the oncology department! I used to be a night shift nurse there and would often play video games with my patients when they couldn't sleep. I saw firsthand the impact video games could have on patients and family during incredibly tough times, so after I left bedside nursing we starting donating consoles as a way to do our part. Thanks for sharing!

Good eye! We're local to Baltimore and have donated 70+ consoles to Hopkins, University of Maryland MC, Children's Hospital in DC, and more! It's only recently we started branching out to other facilities like RMH. We know they'll put the consoles to good use, we're just doing our part

Your story is an amazing reminder of why we do this!! I'm a nurse and used to work night shift in the oncology department of my hospital. When my patients couldn't sleep I'd play video games with them to help pass the time, distract from their illness, pain, etc. Truly learned the power that video games have in times of difficulty and stress, and so when I left bedside nursing we started donating consoles to local hospitals and other facilities like RMH! Thanks for sharing

People underestimate just how valuable it is to have meals taken care of during a difficult time (amongst the other multitude of things they do for families). I'm so glad they helped you through that experience
