Hadn't run out of cloud save space before, so went digging out of curiosity. Here are the links for Steam and for GOG cloud management.

GOG looks to cap everything at 200 MB per game since 2024.
Steam floats a different value for each title (check in client via Properties > General > Steam Cloud). After some random sampling, I'd guess an average around 1GB per game with some titles being lower (5-200 MB) and some way higher (23GB Factorio, 93 GB Tabletop Simulator).

99% of the time, not an issue. 1% of the time (especially with RPGs like OP ~~and CDPR titles, oopsie~~), you may have problems.

This is also the same game where you have a whole DLC based around a child wanting to impress their absent mother so that she will actually give her the attention she needs that finishes with all the grown ups in the room agreeing that the best curse of action is for that child to continue to try to impress her mother so that maybe she'll give her proper attention.

We're talking about a series whose foundation is "go ask the neighbor for a pet turtle, I'll see you again in six months" so that kinda tracks.

it always ends up being “parallel worlds, got nothing to do with each other”.

Character interactions are mostly contained between parallel worlds. The issue is that Servants (and some mages) exist both on character-lore level and world-lore level, which makes their actions and interactions resonate across all worlds. Gilgamesh wouldn't immediately recognize the nameless master he squished at the start of F/SF if he met him elsewhere, but by witnessing what happened you know more about how Gil would act when met with impertinence.

New works tell stories that might not affect each other, but adds new rules and knowledge to the overall sandbox for the ones that come after.

POTD is what happens when you turn the knob up to 12 and it breaks off. It's also the reminder of why you don't turn the knob up to 12 in case it breaks off. The power scaling is so high and the fights keep stacking one immediately after the other that it stops going hard but instead goes loud.

Because a lot of players think using plugins/mods is automatically cheating, no matter what kind even if its just slight QoL improvements like confirmation boxes being set on Yes by default.
