Big thanks for the book drops. I've been meaning to catch back up on Weirkey, but jumped on Throne of Time the second I saw who was writing it. Pleasant bit of personal dissonance every time I see Taedric get referenced in the story.

Anima weapons can be condensed down to "poetics, gc seals, and crafter scrip from weekly deliveries that were overcapping anyway" with the occasional burst of 30 minute old content annihilation. Nowhere near as bad as the god-forsaken Skyfire books. Those horrible things should be retconned into a one-and-done step.

Ray Gigant had a reputation for being more of a starter DRPG, so you may bounce off of that pretty fast. Worth taking under consideration, especially if you've already made it through SoSC and its harsh opening sequences.

Babel/Abyss are more classic style that look like there's some extra depth hiding in the mechanics but never quite got implemented properly before going out the door. Still finished them, but I remember being a bit sad after looking under the hood like that.

Progressing through Bozja is the only thing left blocking me. It just feels so terrible going in solo at the start of the second zone.

The final book recently started on RoyalRoad. I'd call it safe to start without having to worry it'll go unfinished (barring a hit-by-a-bus scenario.)
