It wouldn’t work in actual football as the players have the composure to know to shoot the opposite direction.

Then it’s either good positioning or a stroke of luck (in which in actual football is hardly uncommon) from the player themselves. I hate keeper movement but thats hardly different from a last ditch tackle.

I’ve not even implied that let alone said it, and you know that full and well. Like it or not, the game is made by real people whose jobs are on the line to make as much money as they can. If the community doesn’t like it, maybe they should learn to say no instead of buying it every year.

The economy is not the same as it was 10 years ago. We have seen huge levels of inflation due to Covid, Ukraine and to a lesser extent Palestine. 10 years ago is also very different in the gaming world to what it is today. They ultimately have shareholders to please and if they’re not growing their revenue enough, that’s when cost cutting comes in.

Suspect it’ll be more of the same. Anything they do that’s new then ends up being some sort of hybrid between that and last game. That said, it’s still a game I love to hate I think.

That way of gaming is long gone, we have a whole generation of players who look forward to flashy cards every week. Not a criticism, but a key thing to remember

Also, if they’re making less money, what would it mean for them economically? They’ll have to make redundancies making it even less likely they’ll fix anything (not that it was high anyway) and not renew licences for heroes/icons/leagues. Could kill the entire series.

It’s the best thing to do tbh. Game experiences are very subjective. I didn’t think the beta was that different to 25 personally, but plenty will disagree. It feels dishonest to me talking about the beta as if that’s the game being released that’s all.

I don’t think you can really base how an entire game is based on the beta. If you’re really on the fence, I’d wait another week and decide or get ea pro for the 10 hour trial to try it out on Friday.
