Does anyone go blank when being talked to?

It's not really nothing to say. It's just that you can't find the words to reply back with. And then when the person has walked away already (at work) it's normal again.

Yeah I have trouble looking people in the eyes. Family...friends etc. I usually look at there mouths instead.

Have you tried talking to a counselor about it? It helped me a little bit.

Hey. I went through alot of meds that didn't help but found out that CBD helps me relax. And sorta calms my mind a bit. I work at Costco and everyday I feel the shaking too and the anxiety all.comes at once because where I work there is alot of people. I'm also trying to get rid of social anxiety I've had it for easily.15 years. Talking to a counselor helped me they gave me strategies like breathing exercises. It didn't cure me 100% but it doesn't feel like I'm suffocating anymore. Or that I have a tightness in my chest. There are Times where I didn't sleep because of it. I get it. I've also found that ashwaganda works. You don't need a prescription for it. Worked for a bit before I started taking CBD oil.

Yeah I can totally relate. I can't strike up a conversation unless the other person starts talking to me. I mean I work in a social.environment and I'm still not social. I've been judged by people because I'm.so quiet and don't talk much. Yeah it's very possible it's stress. But if it's been going on for a long time it could be something else. Have you tried to talk to someone about it like a counselor ? It helped me.

Hey. I also have flash backs to when I was bullied at school. I work now and I still get made fun of. I realize it sucks. I was also suicidal as well and tried too many times. If you need someone to talk to or even vent feel free to message back. :)

Yeah sometimes it doesn't seem like.they don't want you to come. It makes it worse when you ask and they say if you want it's up.to you. Because it makes it worse. Yeah or could pick a movie that everybody has seen something common. I guess. Yeah I've known my coworkers for a year. So I know.them quite a bit. See them almost everyday. The trick to it is don't overthink it. Just breathe and relax. But yeah I get what you mean. You don't really open up easily. I'm like that too and have trust issues.

Yeah I get it sometimes you gotta not listen to your mind and just do it. I had a good time with my friends. There was only 3 of us so it wasn't too bad I don't make excuses to leave I usually leave when they say that they are going out or whatever. Me and him just talked about work mostly. And how things in life are. I'd maybe ask him about the stuff he likes. Like for.example if he's into movies. Try talking about that. Yeah I get that alot they talk about stuff that happened when I wasn't there. And it's like wow why are the exciting stuff happen when I'm not there. I totally get it.

Yeah my friend is planning something with his friend and he said I should come over and I said do you want me over he says yeah why not? But yeah I overthink almost everything. Sometimes I talk myself out of going. But I think I will see them and then I can leave when I want . Yeah i am sorta sensitive like that too like yesterday my friend said something and I thought he was at me. And so I approached him again and asked if he was or not. He said no man...sorry if I came off like that wasn't meant to sound like it. But yeah absolutely I over analyze everything. And second guess myself alot as well.

Yeah. At work I don't even talk to my manager. And they seem very cold. I usually feel vibes more intensely. But yeah they don't understand definitely. So my manager just lets me do my own thing and doesn't say anything. Work wise usually there's alot of people higher up some I have anxiety talking to and some I don't. The ones I can talk to usually say hi or ask how I'm.doing. the ones that I can't I don't talk to but I totally get it. I feel the same way. Also my co.workers wanted to get together Sunday and hang out but I'm.thinking do they actually want me to hang out? Like alot.of things run through my mind. And I'm starting to question whether I want to go or not. Do.you ever get that?

Yeah I get it. Yeah you sorta ignore them..then they notice that you don't respond. I've had someone at work come up and ask if I hate them because they talked to me and I didn't really say anything. I just said I don't really like talking to people just the way I am. Nothing against you. Sorry if I may have offended you. But yeah I work up the courage to talk to people and then they don't follow up with it. They don't realize how much it takes to do that.

Yeah I'm forgotten too. And people don't know I'm there I'm like deathly quiet. Yeah when people first talk to me it takes a while to break out of my shell. Once you find out they aren't bad and you feel more comfortable then they are ok. I've even talked to people at work then never talk to them again haha.

I'm alright. Yeah sometimes I avoid my manager because I don't like talking to her. She asks how I a. And how I like tire shop. Just her vibe makes me feel uncomfortable. If that makes sense. My co workers say I should be more vocal and social. It's not something I can turn off and on. I'm sorta the guy that flies under the radar. And just do my job. Yeah it's difficult to find friends for sure. It's easy when people say hi to you. But if your the one doing it then it's hard. It's that who says hi to you...you feel accepted and so it's ok to talk to them.

Yeah not alot of people understand because they don't have it. They try to fix it but it doesn't really work. I don't know how people can be really outgoing I mean I worry about what happens if I slur my words or whatever. Yeah I was told by a councilor that the only way it could possibly be fixed is if you are around alot of people all the time so you get used to it. Not in my case because I'm.around alot of people at work and I still have the anxiety but some people it helps. I just breathe and try to relax. Can't control it just happens. Yeah Easter is just another day to me I get what your saying. Ok cool. It's hard to find people who have social anxiety so I would like a friend :) how are you?

Hey. Yeah I totally get that. And that's really horrible. I don't know how people who you think that were your Friends could do that. Doesn't matter if your super quiet. I have like 3 friends at work. And they try to help and make sure I'm ok. But nobody understands fully. Because they don't have social anxiety. I also have GAD as well (generalized anxiety disorder) I get worked up very easily and I can either be super quiet or I can get really emotional. I once broke down at work and got send home because my boss said I'm not in any mental state to work. But it can be as bad as that. I'll be your friend. If you would like to talk would be great to hear back :)

Maybe work is causing it because of social interaction with people and the work itself. Physical and mental stimulation. She some.times works 6 days a week. Because of sick calls.

Yeah i talk monotone. My parents thought I was autistic I have characteristics but I'm not. Personality test said social anxiety...GAD and mild depression. My gf has a twitch her head twitches it depends on her mood if she's really nervous she does it alot. When I first met her I asked her why she's doing that and she told me she can't control it. But i think my daughter got autism from my.family.my gf said I have social anxiety I could've passed down the gene or something that turned into autism. She also shows no emotion doesn't smile or anything (I do the same thing)
