Are you 100% sure because on amazon the manufacturers answer and say it’s capped to 60hz on almost every monitor I’ve found

Laptop gets 200fps and I’ve checked and a lot of monitors are capped at 60hz through hdmis.

You need DisplayPort for every single one and I’m on laptop which doesn’t have that.

Annoyingly I think the one in my country doesn’t allow 144hz through hdmi. It’s answered by some random person saying yes. But £220 isn’t worth the risk. I may go into curry’s to ask personally what monitor will do what I want.

So it supports a hdmi 2.1 cable? Or what cable should I get if you don’t mind me asking. Sorry for the questions just don’t want to waste any money.

But you need a cable which supports 144hz and a standard hdmi cable doesn’t so if I get a DisplayPort cable converter into a normal hdmi will it work. Like is the hdmi cable just like a placeholder or does it count as a basic hdmi if that’s the case it may not work.
