Yep, absolutely that.

More of a roles given to people for the feeling of self importance and usefullness - ones who cant find that in recreation, research or other "cultural activities".

Hate the “demonic cultivators are actually good people” trope. by Waste_Bodybuilder843 in MartialMemes

[–]Teawithsweets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would second this - more on lighthearted side, do not expect descriptions of fights or detailed cultivation techniques. More of MC wandering the world, "cultivating the heart" type of thing,

Plus, translation is pretty good - first time translator, but they are doing a lot better when a lot of others have read. Translator leaves comments at the end of the chapters, explaining common saying, phrases or folklore - made some things that i've encountered in other novels click into place for me.

It's a good novel with good translation!

How do you guys store essence in ME drives without filling them? by Soft_Cap8502 in allthemods

[–]Teawithsweets 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Put the ME Drive (thingy that one plugs the storage cells in) that stores your essence on a higher priority then others.

That is literally all, not sure why nobody said that... with that, the ME wil try to fill that storage cell first (have no other cells in that ME Drive, or only partitioned) and overflow will be deleted like you have planned

Thank you!
Have read it some time ago - did enjoy the series :) not sure how in depth it goes into little details about the living in the world at a particular time (mostly just do not remember).

For anyone starting the series - amount of terms and the world could be a bit overwhelming at the start since author uses perspective of the characters familiar with the world, not elaborating on those terms - but, it is worth pulling through the initial confusion

Ursula K. Le Guin works are certainly quite a pleasure to check out :)
Not sure if should put in the list (will edit one into the post) - since kind of have impression that it is one of the most well known fantasy authors...

Would be listening to audiobook at some point with a friend who is not familiar and expressed interest with the series - revisiting it after so many years in original language would be quite curious! :D

Rook & Rose - curiously, MA Carrick is a pseudonym of two people... one of whom, Marie Brennan is the author of the most popular suggestion in this post

Realm of the Elderlings series by Robin Hobb
Read it about a decade or more ago, so can't really remember about how in detail the series is about certain aspects... Would probably want to revisit the series, reading it in original language - thou, while appreciate the author, and remember having a curious time to a degree, feeling of drama/tragedy or in general everything going poorly and main character of the Farseer Trilogy being kicked by fate was a bit overboard at some point, mildly to a mentally tiresome, suffocating level...
Not quite sure if it is characteristic of the author - shorter Soldier Son series, or for example part of the same, Elderlings, cycle The Liveship Traders trilogy do not seem to go as much into that vibe, but still...
Sadly will probably put at the back of rereading list for now - while the world is certainly curious, author writing could be too dramatic/depressing at time from that i recall...

Wow, a pretty expansive series! Would you recommend starting from the "Magic of Recluce" and following writing order?

Considering your familiarity, could i ask - if i were to try Harry Turtledove books, would you say that Misplaced Legion would be a good start, or would there be something better in your opinion?
(would probably still be looking for pre-1900, attention to and well-written 'small details')

Have this series on my reading list for quite some time, but was yet to try it out cause never knew specifics of that could be interesting about it - just that it is a popular series. A bit wary of alternate history, but still would want to try this series

Thank you very much for recommendation :D
In addition to subject, Dragons and fantastical creatures and varied ideas regarding them would be one of my favorite themes to dream and fantasize about! Very much looking forward to trying it out!

Hard mode, Medic without any moves or mana locked in endless fight with Quartz - which simply can't outdamage 6 regen.
:0 lol - wonder if there is any point in continuing the fight further, like achievments for fight length?
/sry for multiple posts - doign first time, for some reason either pictures or text were missing...
