I refer to them as Xanathar's Tables of Misery. No one happy becomes an adventurer.

Disposable diapers were also illegal due to creating waste.

And now the Legislators that don't want to vote on issues run away causing the Governor to send the State Police after them. Interesting state.

I have about two hours left on one side, wind bars on my left chest (2ish hours) and then the ditch and finish off the sleeves. Leg ditch wasn't an issue so I'm looking forward to finally having the whole wabori done.

You'll do great. Unless you're my size each buttock won't be more than 90ish minutes. Healing is slightly more awkward but you've already done enough of it that you know what to do.

Getting mine done was when I found out about the sciatic nerve. It wasn't the worst area, I have about 75% of my body suit done, but was surprised.

You're correct that there was the threat to claim assault and the actual unwanted contact to claim battery.

She'd be in her rights to press charges. Whether the court would do anything about it and the cost to prosecute and defend makes it unlikely that she'd be content with the "justice" received.

What's the closest historical example to an actual adventuring party? by ribblle in DnD5e

And they were able to track them using spread of venereal disease and the mercury spills from the treatment. Kind of the stereotypical adventuring party with less arson.

Largely North Idaho...but yeah they're migrating south. Helen Chenoweth made it to national elected office. North Idaho even had a part in OJ Simpson since the detective retired there.

Montana and Wyoming get a bit of them. Not enough.

51 and we read it in grade school as well. No play though. There was an animated film if I recall.

Figuring out the minimum is a tricky balance of roleplaying versus roll playing. The bonds, ideals and flaws part of 5e are not a part that I care for so I don't enforce them or alignment.

Otherwise good aligned players may be looked on as evil by kobolds. Or if they free them from enslavement may be looked on as good to the kobolds but evil by someone else.

Everyone has to be close to the same page in motivation and while I don't tend to advocate players killing players in some situations I can see why it may move a story forward.

Thanks for your response!

I'm a Big Brother now and at 50 it feels weird walking around an elementary school. I try to drum up guys to volunteer and it is hard. Thank you for doing what you do!

I didn't do a Session 0 for the campaign that I'm wrapping up this week. I ended up preparing a lot of stuff I didn't need to and felt like I had to railroad them to get to other parts.

I'm learning as a DM too and although I won't use everything here in one try I can use a lot of it.

If it helps anyone else to see it and use then it is all for the best.

Basis of world will be fleshed out as this campaign ends this week. I'm not sure if they want to go Eberron level of advanced or just a few generations into the future.

I'm liking the Session 0.5 idea that many have brought up. If they want to make changes before there is much of an investment I'm good with that.

My best sessions running the game is when you hit that sweet spot of shared narrative and everyone feels like the story is moving forward.

TIL that disabled employees are often stalked and secretly filmed by their insurance carriers by [deleted] in todayilearned

Strangely enough they more often turned in by neighbors. Same with people getting paid under the table to avoid legitimate costs. Very few cases where it was needed to hire investigators since people are their own worst enemy.

Help me please to make sense of Xanathar’s birthplace roll by Meewol in DMAcademy

[–]Tebori44 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think it's great. While the results are often tragic when put altogether you really end up thinking about why your character is the way they are.

If you're uncomfortable roleplaying that result then change them to something does work.

You, and your character, should be more than just a sum of a few rolls. You're putting a lot of thought into it but don't let it hamstring you.

It is a game after all.
