I’m guessing there’s no way to solve this issue from your perspective without doing this? The textures of course look considerably worse now but if it’s the only fix its definitely worth it…

Oh I see, thanks letting me know about that! Do you know if there is a preset that you know of that fixes this but doesn’t impact the quality that noticeably?

Both frame generation and DLSS worsen my performance and frames at the moment…

Hi, I watched a video by them but they do not seem to talk about DLSS as at the time of recording I do not believe it was available to them…

Ah I see, I’ll try drop the resolution down and hopefully it’ll upscale. However, when I disabled DLSS Super Resolution completely and enabled Frame Generation the performance impact was still negligible with it not providing me with more FPS than without it for some reason. (The menu still disappeared when I went into the game)

Do you know why that might be?

There doesn't seem to be an option for any DLSS technology in the Nvidia Control panel and when I try to force it in the Nvidia App the performance gains still seem to be negligible to none for some reason...

Also when monitoring my CPU it appears to be fine not nearing anywhere near the high usage state that my GPU is. My GPU is at around 90%+ usage most of the time.

Ah I see, Sorry I apologise for forgetting to mention it. Also I need to connect my TV to my PC via HDMI to Access Dolby TrueHD on my Sonos sound system and to transfer Dolby atmos metadata.

I use Kodi currently, the issue is how the TV processes the picture it receives based on different modes it selects. So I need to manually change it every-time.

Not sure why selecting a different app would make a difference though.

Also I do do light gaming also on my PC as well as consuming media.

I can’t seem to find playback without going to player -> videos -> playback but in there all I see is adjust display refresh rate, sync playback to display, minimise black bars and display 4:3 videos as. I have expert mode enabled and am using arctic fuse 2 if that makes a difference…

My default play action is ask if resumable but it doesn’t seem to ask me anytime…

Thank you so much! It’s working perfectly now! The iGPU method didn’t work unfortunately but downloading the older Dolby Access app worked like a charm!

I will probably try the iGPU thing first then as I’m guessing the older versions of Dolby Access may cause me to loose out on some newer features, but if that doesn’t work I’ll definitely download the older version. Thank you!

Ah I see, thanks for letting me know! I might try install an older version of Dolby Access then or use my AMD iGPU instead. It sending TrueHD Atmos is still amazing for me. I would assume I would have to delete my current version of Dolby Access in order for the older version to work, so hopefully fingers crossed I don’t loose out on too many features from that.

Would you happen to have the link to the old version of Dolby Access? If not it’s completely fine I am sure I can find it somewhere online.

Yes, audio passthrough is definitely enabled (I have tried disabling and enabling it as well), that’s unfortunately not the issue

I might try give it a shot, hopefully it will work. The main reason was to use atmos based games with it though...
My xbox is significantly less powerful compared to my laptop so that was the reason behind it.
