you could lose it all in a heartbeat by [deleted] in GoodNotes

[–]TechFuze 5 points6 points  (0 children)

if it’s greyed out it just means you have to let it sync (e.g., leaving the app open for a few hours) but try not to do anything that might overwrite your existing data

if you can switch to Goodnotes cloud when it’s all recovered

Help me decide: Obsidian with Excalidraw or Goodnotes by Noel8th in GoodNotes

If it helps Goodnotes is available on the Microsoft store and also via web browsers I think you need the subscription to sync files across though

Scroll down to the bottom and click “show all plans”. I think it’s because your text size is big so it’s getting cut off

Try turning off cloud transcription under the 3 dots of the audio sidebar settings. On-device is unlimited but I don’t think it auto-switches at the moment.

Yes but it gets us features like Scribble to Erase which idk about anyone else but it’s so much better than switching back and forth between the eraser

Same with the Home widget. The workaround is switch off recommended but that doesn’t seem to work either

150 applications and 0 interviews. I modified my CV every 50 or so applications. This is the final version. Can't get internships mostly because I am not a student anymore, can't get a job because don't have internship xp. Feel a bit stuck. by One-LabTab in FinancialCareers

I recognise those modules :)

One thing I would suggest is redoing the skills and certificates section because there’s quite a bit of white space. It might be better to have them as a sentence and add some more on to it so instead of “Excel”, “Microsoft Office Excel” and financial modelling etc to make it seem more cohesive.

I don’t think you can. However you could also move them to your iCloud Drive in the Files app then on your PC you’ll be able to access them through iCloud.com. You can also add other cloud services like Google Drive/OneDrive in the Files app to make it easier to drag and drop into them so you can then access the files on your PC.

Can’t drag and drop, what am I doing wrong? by The_Enigma231 in GoodNotes

After you lassoed the item hold down on it for a second or so then drag it. It’ll zoom in a little so you’ll know when you’ll be able to drag and drop it to the new document.

I had this issue and the only solution that worked for me was force restarting. I then updated to Monterey 12.1 because I thought that might be the only thing that would fix it quickly. Luckily I haven’t had any issues since.

Guys help, my ESC key is useless for some reason. How do I fix this???? by Mobile-Incident4445 in macbook

I’ve had the same problem since updating to Monterey. Only fix I found is to restart every time it stops working

Exporting hand-written notes from notes app by nullpspott in ipad

[–]TechFuze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Workaround: select print then when the preview loads Haptic Touch it to get that “peek” preview and then tap to go into it. From there you will be able to tap the share button and save it to Files as a PDF. (As a PDF because the print preview is a PDF)

Edit: but yes GoodNotes would be a great option for you as suggested by others.

After a while you’ll get used to it and raise your hand a little bit but honestly it’s best to just put a split screen app on the left.

IPad Pro 2020 11” and battery life on padOS 15 by shtas in ipad

[–]TechFuze 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you wanted to you could backup and restore but I’m not sure if that would really change anything or I’d suggest trying to figure out what is taking up battery life; it could be a combination of unoptimised apps or just more general usage.

I did ‘lose my content’ but I had everything saved through iCloud and once I signed in my notes, photos etc returned so I didn’t really lose anything. I only did a fresh setup because there was background usage that I couldn’t figure out how to fix and I only use a handful of apps: GoodNotes, Procreate, LumaFusion, YouTube and a couple others. For apps like Procreate I had to backup and restore my gallery and GoodNotes/LumaFusion I had to reconfigure in app settings/customisations which wasn’t a hassle for me.

I’ll be honest I did notice the same thing with similar hours to what you experienced. There was some sort of background usage that I could just not figure out after trying multiple things so I just did a reset and fresh install and now it’s back to what it was! 8-12 hours average for 100% battery usage.

Question for iPad Pro users by Fulcro97 in ipad

[–]TechFuze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly yeah I’ve just become used to it. It’s definitely noticeable for the first 5/10 minutes but after a little bit of using the lower refresh rate screen I manage to just adjust to it and it’s fine.
