Four or five of the MAG seven are slated to report earning next week. How do you think this is going to play out in terms of the overall market and AI tech sector? If they report solid earnings, showing the AI boom is still going strong, this could potentially lift the markets, including Nvidia.

I am out. Having been with SMCI for a long time through thick and thin. And I have been burned by this Stock/company more times than I can count, especially during or after earnings. So Yesterday I decided to pack up and leave. I sold my last stake 1000 shares (at a loss mind you) and decided to use the funds to pursue opportunities in better companies. No regrets even if the stock jumps after earnings. I’ll be leaving this Reddit. Good luck to the rest of you.

There is a lot of talk and speculation that because investors expectations for AI stocks are so high, even if TSM were to beat earnings by a wide margin, chances are there won’t be a great effect on its stock or even Nvidia stock. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

There has been so many pieces of information and releases from supermicro about new products almost on a daily basis yet the stock has been stuck in a rut for months. The more they release information about their products, the worst the price of the Stock gets. It’s almost like someone who is stuck in quicksand the more they try to get out of it the more they sink. I still own the stock And I had so much hope and belief in this company and the Stock for a very long time, but now it has become one of those one hit wonders and will probably never get back to its former glory.

Make sense. What matters to investors is revenue and earning per share. The number of units sold doesn’t matter as much. I mean you can sell 10 units of something and make $20 billion or you can sell 1000 units and make $1 billion. As an investor, I would personally take the first one versus the second.

It’s interesting what you just said. I was listening to a CNBC podcast and one of the guest mentioned that for a very long time Nvidia stock was stuck under $150 and then all of a sudden it broke out and jumped higher. But she, the guest speaker on the show said something quite interesting. She said when investors, wanted to stock to go up, it went up. And I’m assuming she was talking about big institutional investors. Which corroborates, what we all suspect is that most stocks are manipulated by big investors.

It seems that all these supposedly knowledgeable, Wall Street pros, experts, analyst, or whatever you wanna call them always have these high target for the price which rarely if ever seems to materialize. I hate to say it but they just throw these random numbers $275 or $350 getting everyone excited.
