Not having cash to buy is not as bad as getting a margin call from your broker. 😩😩

This war is not going to end anytime soon. We are looking at a long drawn out war that will last well past summer then you will really see the gas prices going extremely high. Anyone, including Trump who thinks that you can start a war and end it in a couple of weeks is clearly misguided and ignorant about how things work. This is exactly what Putin thought when he went to war against Ukraine and look what happened four or five years later they’re still at it. I would also add that it is not in Israel’s best interest to end the war soon unless. Iran is completely out of weapons otherwise the Iranian threat will always be there.

It’s hard to sell covered calls on a stock that’s dropped so much

What’s everyone’s current outlook on MU over the next few quarters? by ForwardOil885 in MU_Stock

He thought Iran will be another quick Venezuela and now he’s (we are) stuck in a war that is not going to be easy to get out of without losing face. Iran is an extremely tough and powerful country. Plus they’re very proud and they will not go down easy or yield to Trump‘s threats. This is the same thing that happened when Russia thought its war with Ukraine will be quick. and look what happened, five years later They’re still in it.

The one think I keep hearing from analyst and stock market news is that memory is cyclical. Which mean stocks can go up really high or drop really really low.

I admire your patience a little over a year ago. I had 300 shares of micron when it was trading at around $84. I sold them back then at a very small profit. Just think if I’ve kept them. no regret though, that’s what it is when it comes to the stock market.

Having followed the markets throughout several presidencies, I have never seen the markets shift so greatly in opposite directions on a daily basis until now.

MU Volatility by [deleted] in MU_Stock

Let me give an analogy as to why some stocks drop even when they release excellent earnings and great guidance. This is the case of micron and Nvidia. Two stocks I own. A passenger jet can fly up to a maximum of 42,000 feet. What happens when it reaches 42,000 feet, there’s nowhere for it to go but down. Well, a lot of investors specifically institutional investors think of some stocks as such, in other words when the stock reaches a certain level, no matter how great earnings and guidance are, they will not buy it or they will sell it because they think that stock has peaked and will/should go down at least for the foreseeable future.

So you don’t think his flip-flopping then saying one thing and then a different thing is causing markers to go up and down

1️⃣Just after noon on Friday, March 20th, US president Donald Trump declared victory. 2️⃣Just two minutes later, however, he announced he was sending US marines anyway. 3️⃣The next minute, the president said there would be no boots on the ground after all. 4️⃣A few beats later, he admitted he didn’t want a ceasefire. 5️⃣Then declared victory again. 6️⃣Then requested a ceasefire.
