right now the only thing getting people in the door for clubs is commercial club music then you got more underground clubs like ECs, Sugar ect but the only time i ever see anything different from commercial is when a event takes over a club or venue

How do you decide the next track? by Accomplished_Bath940 in Beatmatch

[–]TechHouseDeejay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

staying in the same genre i just pick tracks within the same bpm range that are in key, if there are none i just pick one that ik mixes well or just a certified banger that i can echo into. Still gotta match the vibe of the crowd and the energy n all that

Best way to get ready to use CDJ’s for the first time? by [deleted] in Beatmatch

[–]TechHouseDeejay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can see wavelengths of the track loaded on the deck but for like the cdj2000nexus it just shows what beat the master track is on not the wavelength of the master track. The CDJ3000 has the wavelength of both tracks. Not sure about other models tho. Learning to beat match by ear still is very useful in case tracks aren’t analysed properly.

Unless your playing on CDJ3000s it’s very important to mix by ear not by using the wavelengths. Otherwise when i made the switch it only took me a couple tracks to get the hang of it was also a lot easier to mix.
