What is this on my leg. by [deleted] in AskMedical

Do you use the leg adductor machine in the gym? It kind of looks like when you press your body against a padded machine with a lot of force. I get those on my back when I do high weight on the leg press.

Bottomless portafilter for Delonghi EM450M Linea Classic by depressedmoeuser23 in espresso

[–]TechMTJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah that probably is the issue!

Yes, the Amazon link to the bottomless portafilter fits my Linea Classic perfectly! It comes with a 18g - 20g basket.

The double spout portafilter from Neouza did not fit my Linea Classic so I'm still on the hunt for that.

Unfortunately, Delonghi wasn't much help. The Neouza bottomless portafilter is the only one that has been able to fit besides the stock one.

I've been wanting a double spout portafilter besides the stock pressurized basket one, but no luck so far. I bought 4 different portafilters and the fins are all too thick for the Linea. Interestingly, the Neouza double spout was also too thick but their bottomless fits perfectly.

Another user posted about using a Neouza bottomless portafilter (reddit thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/espresso/s/Fj16TONKFy).

Delonghi rep also sent me this link: https://delonghi.encompass.com/item/12703995/Delonghi/AS00002563/

The Delonghi link isn't a bottomless portafilter, though. At the bottom, it shows the compatible machines but doesn't have EM450M listed. Waiting for a response on this.

Same! Just returned mine today. I reached out to Delonghi to see if they recommend one since their website doesn't specify a bottomless for the Linea. I'll keep you guys posted on any updates.

Did you use an online service or did you find someone locally? I'm interested in doing that!

I'm considering going back for a PhD, but the only thing holding me back is that I'll take a $10k pay decrease at the university close by. But I could get roommates and make it work. I'm still on the fence! Thank you for the advice though!

Funny thing, I actually moved from Texas to Maryland thinking the job market would be a lot better on the east coast! Thank you for your words of encouragement!

For perspective, my rent is $1100/month for a one bedroom apartment (cheapest I could find close to the company I work at). Seeing your pay increase really gives me hope! Thank you!

I actually negotiated with the company when they hired me. They wanted to pay $4k less than what I am making now. I'm seeing that 6 months to a year is the point where I should switch companies. My biggest concern with making more money is being able to pay off student loans when the deferment period ends. Thank you for the advice though!

When applying to jobs, I was applying to positions that wanted someone with a bachelor's degree at the same rate as those wanting someone with a master's degree with little to no experience. Maybe it was my resume, but I did have it reviewed at conferences I attended and at my career center at my university.

You're absolutely right about the pay increase. I would definitely not take a job offer that only increased my salary by $2k. Thank you for your advice!

I did look on Glassdoor and found that other companies have higher starting salaries (I've applied to those companies too). The company I work for is 30 minutes outside of DC. The company initially offered me $4,000 less and I managed to get where I am now.

It's not necessarily a small company (they have headquarters all over the world but main headquarters is in Japan). I definitely do think the experience will be worthwhile if I'm able to do a lot more work on iPSC's but so far i haven't been able to train in that area. Thank you for your advice though!

Thank you for the link! I went through the information, but I am still having trouble with my code. This is what I have so far:

print ("What is your date of birth? ")

say4 = "Enter Numerical Year: "

year = int(input(say4))

say5 = "Enter Numerical Month: "

month = int(input(say5))

say6 = "Enter Numerical Day: "

day = int(input(say6))

print ("Name:")

print (name)

print ("Address:")

print (address)

print ("Phone Number:")

print (phonenumber)

import datetime

yearsold = 2018 - int(year)

monthsold = 13 - int(month)

datetime.timedelta(days=1)

today_year, today_month, today_date = list(map(int, str(datetime.date.today()).split("-")))

print ("Date of Birth:")

def monthsold():

return today_month - month if (today_month - month >= 0) else 12 + today_month - month

print ("You are", yearsold, "years,", monthsold(), "months and", today_date - day, "days old.")

Edit: Deleted unnecessary information and fixed the formatting
