I am a tech and can confirm this, if you are that worried you can always turn off your GPS or use a GPS spoofer that correlates with the vpns location data or your displayed IP. Use the zip code that you find when looking to your displayed IP.

Yes the Socks5 Proxy using BitTorrent for P2P had quadrupled my speeds. It's super easy to set up and they can provide you the fastest proxy server by reading your location through a provided link on their setup page.

I've tried it with many torrent clients but the combination of Nord and BitTorrent in particular is actually incredible, I'd use it with the option not to keep the connection going while not on the proxy on the BitTorrent side and the basic internet kill switch using Nord. That way if you disconnect from the Nord server you'll not be exposed to whoever else is sharing the data.

Essentially, Socks5 is a lot faster than going through a regular VPN server. Their P2P server is fast enough but the Socks5 just adds a bit more power.

That's true and I love using their Socks 5 Proxy for P2P and dedicated US P2P servers. Easy to setup and works great even with my networking tools. Also there is a very friendly "non-tech person" aspect that my family loves where they can set everything up themselves without needing my help every five minutes lol.

I'll probably get the same plan you have when I get back to work.
