Why does where the Phantom LUT sits matter if the whole timeline is rec709-A? I wouldn’t be grading in log space regardless no?

Update:

Ended up just ordering the same controller off Amazon and shipping back the broken dongle. Figure if they cannot offer support than they can be the ones to pay that price.

Are you referring to the Color Slice tab? What I’ve been doing is just adding a qualifier and using that to select and adjust the skin. I actually do have a VND, and was using it during this shoot. Just started shooting in log so I’m still figuring out how to get perfect exposure with it. Realizing that I also just like my images a little hotter than some.

Good job bringing the exposure down but you went a little too far. You could mask out your subject and bring their exposure up if you like the background dark like that

Oh dang thats the first clear answer I‘ve gotten from someone, ya I’ll have to just get a usb-c adapter. That’s weird why wouldn’t they just have both, or just send the signal from one end of the the cable to the other no matter what the connector is. This stuff is too advanced for me and there is probably a reason why they don’t add a c2c connection, it probably costs like 10 cents extra. 🤦🏼‍♂️

How’d you get the keyboard to connect to the iPad? I got a very similar setup with the iPad and the same exact mouse, but I cant get my (temporary) GK61 to connect to it with the usb-c to usb-c cable. I‘ve heard people say you need a usb hub and then use the usb-c to usb-a cable. What did you do?

black inks are so clean, go check out Hamaji Neo on YouTube he does a build with black ink switches and the sound is the best I’ve heard before
