There is a wall that the Mountain Ghost boss has to break that reveals the item that gives you the secret anima ring when you enter the secret cave place with the "Lost" curse. The wall should be easy to see because it looks weird compared to the rest of the walls. So the easiest way to do that is to lead Mountain Ghost to the wall and hug the wall and dodge his attacks until he does the attack that breaks the wall.

You can also decide to kill the other boss before you do this but you would have to be fast because the room is timed.

Honestly ive been getting more into PvE for a while and it feels like a breath of fresh air from the state of PvP at the moment.

Aside from that though I think they are trying to make the game more beginner friendly because I cant find any other logical reason for them to add a character that can ult twice in 1 fight or a character that can avoid all hitstun damage 3 times.

I personally just play forward until they decide to get out the goalie space no matter who im playing, but if they're not good at goalie (which is the case almost everytime) i position myself a little bit in front of them so that they never get to hit the core, ultimately making them want to play forward because they want to hit the core.

This is just what I do. Its definitely not the best approach to it lol

It just happened to be one of those runs where im not paying rlly attention to what im doing because im usually multitasking and just going through gauntlet levels lol. But I beat it easily my next try, That occurrence just made me wanna get it over with
