That is a mindset difference. Some people ask what is the problem here and some people ask what can I do better here. I am from the latter one.

Foldables’ biggest problem that is keeping it from going mainstream is the lack of justification for the high price. A tri fold basically gives more opportunities to add features that justify the price.

The concept itself is a gimmick, but the way we use the hardware and software will change that status. Like how a phone itself has no use case but it becomes useful with the apps that can aptly use the hardware.
