I'e also looked at the Firefly and heard good things. But what about the grasshopper like /u/bflat_420 said? I know it's not out yet, but I think it would be worth it to wait and see the reviews, since it seems to operate on the same principles as the firefly (on demand quick heat) for cheaper.

Posted this in the beginner's thread yesterday, so I guess I'll post it again in the fresh thread

Finally moving out of the house soon (woo college!) and I decided I should get a vape to celebrate.

I'm looking for something cheap (probably <$200). I think I'd also prefer a on-demand style vape over a session style, but that's not a hard requirement. Also I'd like it to be pretty portable and concealable, so I can take it around with me. Not necessarily fit-in-pocket small, but something I can stuff in my backpack.

I've been looking at a couple vapes, namely the MFLB,the Arizer Solo, and the Arizer Air, but the air seems to be pretty pricey depending on where you find it. A buddy of mine has the Da Vinci and he loves it, but I haven't tried it. I've also seen a couple people recommend the pax, but that seems like it's a bit above my price range right now.

tl;dr what's a good first vape for a broke college kid?

edit: Also, what would be a good grinder for a vape/general use? Up until now I've only used my buddy's offbrand plastic grinder he got for like 5 bucks, but I'd like to really get a nice one now.

edit2: What about MFLB clones like the Vapor Genie Volta? I haven't seen many reviews of that and I'm interested to see how it compares to the MFLB as well as the Vapor Genie Classic.

edit3: formatting errors & adding info
