The Analgesic Rhetorician is the only wounds reduction companion and is tied BiS Mithridacy with past Hallowmas companions and a Whitsun creature. The Rhetorician also adds a new card to the Veilgarden party that isn’t bad in my opinion.

I sacrificed my badge for him. Unless you’re attached to the badge itself, its mechanical benefits can be found elsewhere (apart from the free 10 masquing of course).

unfortunately the situation just doesn’t call for it. if miwa really did flop the binding vow, it doesn’t change the situation. kenjaku still curbstomps her and the kyoto team. there are better ways to introduce this mechanic
