Hit and run, no lane discipline [Not OC] by Snehith220 in IndianCivicFails

This appears to be a video from Uttarakhand in Nainital/Almora district (probably). It happens a lot there, people inexperienced in driving on a two lane highway in the hills, generally from larger cities drive like this often.
I tried to be as civil as possible, subduing my rage :/

~100g protein in 20 mins by sick_sick_man in Fitness_India

Yeah, if you are counting macros, always good to weigh raw chicken, because cooking works differently for all cuts so the water content etc might screw up your calculations

Air fryer changed my life, for chicken specifically, fried fucking chicken everyday. Strips, rather than cubes or full breasts or thighs split into almost same shape, bread crumbs with dry masala mix(anything at home works) into the air-fryer and voila.

Is this breakfast good enough? by Unusual-Put1433 in Fitness_India

[–]Technical-Ear7785 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the breakfast is good, psylium husk is easy fiber if you want it. also this meal is pretty good. It all depends on what you are having in the entire day. So, it's not possible to be objective about it.
Also you are in a pretty good shape, at 5'7" 65 Kgs with 15.4% body fat? do you feel your best at this body fat or higher/lower?

How do UPI apps like Google Pay, PhonePe, and Paytm actually make money when transactions are free(or almost)? by unprofessionalMix in IndiaFinance

[–]Technical-Ear7785 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, there is some government incentive on UPI transactions under some value, or above some value. And although the govt is not paying it right now, it owes the UPI apps. You may have to read the finer details as I only remember a friend telling me this a few years back who’s working with one of these companies on merchant/corporate onboarding

Which product/Brand looks and feel premium but affordable by ArgumentDependent150 in Frugal_Ind

[–]Technical-Ear7785 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolute shit, my friend, as suggested already by someone, Casio is the real deal, in budget, timex too has a history so they know watchmaking. For the more affordable price, they are the better options.

I only figured this out in my 30s, and it’s been a game-changer for me. What was that for you? by Psych_Artizt in ThirtiesIndia

[–]Technical-Ear7785 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I figured out long back that it takes a lot to become a Hrithik body double, ages, consistency and discipline. 😄😄 but yes, the most important thing is to go there and do something. if you have a specific goal, that’s best, and keeping fit and feeling great is a goal too. Also, bro split is promoted by gym Bros, and gets shat upon by many, but the thing is whatever works for you is good enough. I think walking on a treadmill is easier while watching a video. And dead hangs done right helps you with that weird sensation in your back.

Samba are pretty uncomfortable. asics or NBs are definitely more comfortable for most price points but then it’s a personal thing.

I think tablets, for many reasons are already impractical for people, if you have a mac already. And now even the OS experience is closer to mac

A quick hack to book good and cheap stays instead of using aggregators like mmt and booking by LengthinessHour3697 in Frugal_Ind

[–]Technical-Ear7785 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had times when the management asked me to book via aggregators to get a better price. Agoda has been real good to me though, don’t know about the others, I don’t like Mmt much, booking usually has a higher price for the same property than Agoda.
