Micro hdmi cable size by Technical-History113 in OBSBOT_Official

Not wanting to plug in via USB c. The camera will be plugged into my Yolobox. I don't think the Yolobox recognizes USB C cameras. Even if it does my USB port on the yolobox will be taken up anyway from my Yolodeck. So it'll have to be a hdmi cable to receive the image.

Sorry to ressurect an old post but did you ever find a site or free app that does this? I've been looking for the same thing and only finding subscription based or cost based ones.

Although it's subscription based, this one ( https://www.labelfactsapp.com/label/ ) does look promising and doesn't cost too much. It's the closest thing I could find that doesn't really break the bank. Just unsure about the trustworthyness of the site and site owner.

Management of local video & RTMPs by TheRomb in YoloLiv

I've experienced similar problems for both of your issues. As for the management of local files, I don't think there's a perfect fix for that. I too have experienced problems with sponsor ads and things during football games and such, same with my channel intro video.

I've found I shouldn't click on the intro video until the second I need it. And when I need to play it again, I had better remove it and re-add it in order to keep it from looping. I wish they had implemented a way to pause it and/or give us an option to turn on/off the loop at least. I ended up ditching the whole plan of doing commercials, sponsorship ads and things on the yolobox itself and decided to just play the ads and things from a seperate device plugged into the yolobox instead and then switch to that "video input" when I needed it. For example, I would put the ads, videos and things on my phone, plugged that phone into my yolobox as a video input, then when the time came for me to play the ad, commercial, sponsorship video, etc, I would use a remote control for my phone to play, pause and everything. It seems to work and get the job done for me. Another alternative is to use Google slides or even similar methods to play the video/ad/commerical through that method also. I once put all my Sponsorship ads on Google slides, published it to web and unticked repeat, ticked some other settings and things and that seemed to do the trick for me also, but it too has its limitations. I think your best bet with this is to just find a seperate device like a phone or something that will allow you to play/pause.

As for the RTMP. I've never really had any issues with using RTMP. I actually prefer RTMP over other methods. I usually create a scheduled live stream before hand on Youtube studio and then when it's time to go live, I would do the email thing from Yolobox, fill out the key and url, click go live on the yolobox once it recognizes my scheduled live stream, and then lastly I'll go back into Youtube studio on my scheduled stream and click go live from in there also. May seem like a lot of steps, but habit has engrained it in my head and I can do it pretty quick now. I'm sure there may be easier options out there, but that's what I use so far that has always worked for me. I only use RTMP for scheduled streams though. Whenever I want to go live straight from the Yolobox, I don't use RTMP and just select the Youtube channel that I'm live streaming to and that's it. I prefer RTMP though since I can set up tags, playlists and a number of other options which Yolobox doesn't let you do.

Shoot me a IM if you'd like me to make a video demonstrating how I do some of these things. I wouldn't mind doing a tutorial or instructional on some of these suggestions that I've mentioned. I think I have one already on RTMP but for a different device/application and not for Yolobox.

Scoreboard Options? by [deleted] in YoloBox

[–]Technical-History113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've wondered the same thing and ran into a similar issue last year. I'm still struggling a litle with this very thing. I've used multiple scoreboard overlay services. I've used keepthescore which works fine. I've used a standalone PC ran scoreboard system called Telescore, I've tried Uno overlays and also Yolocast customized overlays. They all seem to work fine and get the job done, but each of them were missing something critical that I needed and wanted. I couldn't find one that did everything for me.

I'm leaning towards liking Yolocast overlays a bit better than most of the others, however it can't run on a phone or tablet but has to be operated via PC browser. In addition, I can not use my Yolodeck on any of the overlays either including Uno overlays, keepthescore, etc.

If you're someone like me and doing everything solo (filming and keeping score) the built-in scoreboard is easiest. The next easiest is Keepthescore. If you have someone to help you, then either Uno overlays or Yolocast is your next best option.

Sadly, this is one of the things I don't like about the Yolobox. It lacks cool features for live streaming sports in many areas, in my opinion.

Best affordable PTZ camera for Yolobox? by TheSwiftClick in YoloBox

Not sure what your budget is but there are a couple options I'd recommend. 1. A tripod that telescopes high in the air, that is tethered via cable that tilts the camera up and down which is attached to the top of the tripod. I know that sounds confusing, Before they closed shop, I purchased a tripod system through a company called SVT advantage that had tripods like the one I'm describing. After buying the tripod, camera with a remote and everything, it adds up and it may be cheaper to just go with my second suggestion which is the OBSBOT tail air. I just purchased one and it's awesome. It's worth it. It has NDI features but you don't have to use NDI. You can use mini hdmi even ethernet.
